Re:John Titor\'s Prediction was: Obama named

To Darby:
That hurricane help to accelerate a process that is slow and steady. We are running out of oil. Now we lost 25% of our refining capacity. Well, not just of gasoline, but diesel fuel, jet fuel, etc...

And this reply has what to do with the questions that I asked regarding your application for EIR's and building permits?

So, I'll ask again:

Have you applied for permits to store over 1200 gallons of gasoline on your property and filed for the proper EIR's?

Have you considered the position that you've let everyone in your area know that you will be storing a lot of gasoline on your property, that they know where it is and that you might have to be prepared to use deadly force to enforce your rights to your assets?

Kid, every time that you avoid these proper and on point questions you diminish your credibility. Give it the old "college" try. Post a specific answer to a specific question.

It's not as if I have any credibility with your audience. It's not you that has anything to lose; it's my credibility that's on the line. Surely you have the confidence in your position to post direct answers to direct questions...unless you're not quite as confident as you appear to be.

Re:John Titor\'s Prediction was: Obama named

To Darby:
A relative owns a gasoline station. I own a farm. Even so with all the new patriot act legislation farmers can no longer store vast amounts of diesel on their prop. Things will get interesting when there is no fuel and the crops do not get harvested. :D

Already I bought 2,000 gallons and I plan to buy another 1000 tomorrow, if I can, suppliers are running low. You grab at any prediction I get in error. Well, here was what I posted today in hdrkid blog, before the market opened.

Caution, Falling STOCKS

Today is a sad day on Wall Street. Merrill Lynch was bought by Bank of America, Lehman bros went bankrupt, and AIG is in trouble. Things are getting worse. I predict that we are entering a deepening depression.

When you see the giants are falling it does not take a genius to see that the economy is falling apart. Expect shortages of food & fuel in the future as all systems break down.

Third go-round...

Did you get a building permit for the new structures? Did you file an EIR for the gasoline tanks?

I didn't ask about diesel and you didn't mention diesel. You said gasoline. And now it's up to over 3,000 gallons.

BTW: Surely you're not going to depend on getting your gasoline from your gas station owner friend when the crap hits the fan and there are food riots and people starving to death, are you? (and answer the first question first).

Re:John Titor\'s Prediction was: Obama named

To Darby:

I have gasoline and diesel. The problem is that while I can make biodiesel from soybean oil, I cannot make gasoline and you need a certain amount 15% for flex fuel vehicles. Today I ordered 800 gallons of gas, they could not get me a thousand.

In the future I see massive riots due to food shortages. Due to the fact that I see empty streets I am guessing that the cause is lack of fuel. Announcing a future event in front of thousands people on the big stage before it even happens might seem like a bad idea because you do not know the outcome. However, with remote viewing you do. The problem is you do not have perfect accuracy. Sometimes the long shot comes in. Occasionally a frost comes in the middle of summer and kills your crop. This year in the midwest terrible rains cause about 20% of the corn crop to be lost due to flooding. Global warming is messing up the weather. The ability to forecast in the future using mathematical models based on years of old date is suspect.

Although the government drove down the price of oil below $100 for the election, they do not have a magic wand to repair all the hurricane damaged refinery. So we face a situation where we will see shortages soon. Most of my neighbors have huge tanks for fuel. Where I live regulations are so lax that you do not need a permit to have a factory. In fact the whole area is littered with abandoned trailers, junk cars, rusted out pickup trucks, and mining operations that went bust.

For some reason I have seen in the future massive food riots and martial law. I have seen people waiting hours in a line for 1/2 a loaf of bread. When this happens many people will starve.

Lets take a look at my accuracy so far. Taken from hdrkid blog.

Big Banks Fall

Right after the government take over of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, I said that the worst is still to come. Well, now we see that Lehaman Brothers, the forth largest investment bank lost nearly four billion and may soon close its doors. People may start to panic when the government runs out of money to bail out the banks. Expect trouble.

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Wall Street struggled Monday to adjust to a new industry order as Lehman Brothers' bankruptcy filing rocked investors and pulled down financial stocks around the globe.

The filing shows that Lehman is closing its doors with more than $600 billion of debt. The bank has total debts of $613 billion against total assets of $639 billion. Its filing with the Bankruptcy Court of the Southern District of New York shows that Lehman had more than 100,000 creditors.

Re:John Titor\'s Prediction was: Obama named

To All,

Don't listen to that complete and total LIE MACHINE that is the increasingly pathetic HDRKid!

Remember how he laughed when I said that his prediction that Kerry would be Prez would be proven wrong?

Remember how he laughed when I said that his prediction that Hillary would be Prez would be proven wrong?

Remember how he laughed when I predicted that this whole thread would be moved to Fan Fiction?

You are a JOKE Hdrkid and your only hope of having anyone think otherwise is that its doubtful anyone can be bothered to trawl through the entire history of your avoidance tactics, evasiveness, your bear-faced LIES and your general BULLSHIT.

What you write is fiction and bad fiction at that. This thread is exactly where it should be.
People should just leave it to shrivel and die.

Re:John Titor\'s Prediction was: Obama named

Kid,

And I'll add this:

Why in God's name would you possibly need over 3,000 gallons of gasoline for your Vespa scooter? A Vespa gets about 70 mpg. You plan to drive that puppy a quarter of a million miles in the near future?

Or did you direct everyone else to sell their car/truck and buy a scooter but didn't follow your own advice?

And what the hell do you plan to do with all that biodiesel? Last I heard a Vespa has a bit of difficulty running on diesel.

Oh, yeah. You don't own the farm. Dad owns the farm. You live with daddy.

To Skeptic:

You will find than no one is 100% accurate. Still, If I am wrong in my prediction I have a huge block of money that I made predicting that gold would go up, the real estate would go down.

I predicted back in 2005 the fall of the dollar and the world moving to the euro. Well, now iranians are using euros and yen as currency.

Iran to stop taking dollars for oil
http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2008/04/30/business/main4057490.shtml

What is causing US banks to topple? It is not banks in swiss, saudi, france, japan, or china that are falling; no it is banks in america that are falling. We know that property prices fell in 2006 and 2007, but it is now that we see many banks going bankrupt. The reason is simple. Global investors dump US assets they fall in price. Also, they pull their money out of US banks and move it to Europe.

Right now the FDIC has to borrow money from the treasury to cover the 100,000 dollar deposits. I predicted that as more and more financial institutions go under the gov will run out of money. When this happens and it will. All hell breaks loose due to a run on the banks.

This is what the future looks like.

FROM REUTERS
Between Texas and Louisiana, 12 refineries remain shut down and two in the process of restarting, said Bill Bryan, deputy assistant secretary for energy restoration at the Department of Energy. . The storm destroyed at least a dozen production platforms and drilling rigs in the Gulf of Mexico, and much of the production is still shut down in the critical region. Gas prices nationally averaged $3.854 Tuesday, about a 20-cent increase since Friday, according to auto club AAA, the Oil Price Information Service and Wright Express. But gas prices have fluctuated widely throughout parts of the country as some stations, especially in the Southeast where prices topped $5, have had trouble getting fuel from Texas and Louisiana following Ike and Gustav.

Re:John Titor\'s Prediction was: Obama named

Got a question for you Hdrkid,

How are your remote viewing skills retrospectively? In other words, can you see into the past and if so how far and how accurately?

Re:John Titor\'s Prediction was: Obama named

To Skeptic:

OK, well, here we go. Think of a prediction much in the same way as weather. The meteorologist can predict where a hurricane will hit tomorrow with a high degree of accuracy, but as time goes by the accuracy drops. The cone of divergence for next week is large, and he cannot see what the weather will be like three years into the future.

The problem with ASTRAL TIME TRAVEL is that although it is accurate inside a ten year box when you go outside the box the accuracy drops a lot. When I first started using it to travel to the past I thought that the history books were wrong. I saw a world without slavery in the 1800's, no massacres of native peoples, etc.

As you travel back you will find that on many timelines WWII never happened, no Hitler, and there never was a great depression. Our timeline is max strange, on most similar lines to our own the twin towers still stand. I use this as a keystone event to find our line.

In fact. although Bush beat Gore on 50% of the lines on less than 1% did the twin towers fall, also on some lines only one tower fell and the others still stands. So I use the remaining tower to orient myself.

This is important because I orient myself in phase space using monuments and pavilions. To find NYC I used the WTC and after it was destroyed I had to fall back on my secondary locator the Empire State Building, if it were to go I would fall back on the Chrysler building.

To get a fix on Chicago I use the sears tower and for London I use Big Ben. In trips to the future the World Freedom Tower in NYC and the Chicago Spire in Chicago are used to orient in phase space.

Kid,

The difference is that the meterologist's methodology and accuracy can be explained in full by certain laws of thermodynamics - which is a form of statistical physics.

Sure, you can give some written directions as to how to build and operate the gadget. But you can't give a single detail about what the underlying processes are, why they work or quantify a degree of accuracy.

What I'd challenge you to do, if there is indeed a real underlying process working in your gadget, is to isolate yourself from all news sources for a 6 months. No TV, newspapers, magazines, Internet, RV, HDR or information sharing of any kind with other people. Then you do your thing and make some predictions. No follow ups and no further explanations to the predictions. Let them stand on their own merits. This won't reveal how any underlying process works but it will offer a good test of the accuracy of the system in a scenario where experimenter bias is limited because knowledge about current events is limited. It will test the system's ability to assist the user in making predictions about the future rather than testing the experimenter's knowledge of current events.

Obviously it would have to be the honor system on your part. We wouldn't have any way to verify that you were being honest with us and actually followed the isolation/news black-out guidelines.

Don't laugh at the idea. It could serve two purposes for you to isolate for 6 months. The first purpose is for the prediction experiment. The second purpose would be for you to see just what it will be like isolated in your bunker for several months should your war come about (your bunker would be the perfect isolation chamber).

As I said, don't laugh it off. It's a good experiment.

My_Time,

Well there is that silver lining to the cloud. /ttiforum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Back to serious science...

Kid,

I wasn't specific enough in the experimental design. What I was suggesting is that you isolate yourslf from all outside information for the six month period to extinguish any prejudicial information and only then would you make your predictions. You make them at the end of the isolation period before coming out of iso, post them, the thread is locked so that the predictions stay as they were posted without any comments and then we see how it goes.

Re:John Titor\'s Prediction was: Obama named

I agree on that one sujestion Darby.

Instead of the bleneded predictions ,I also would prefer "hard copy results".

That can then be measured on their validity over time.

Kinda like a HDR thread that he can make his predictions in and only respond to solo.

UnEditable.

Re:John Titor\'s Prediction was: Obama named

This is a great idea.

If nothing else it might serve to illustrate to HDRkid just hw much he alters his own claims retrospectvely. Something that's obvious, it seems, to everyone else here except the kid.
