He was on GLPs new voice chat/text chat for a couple days, but said he had to stop becuase the government requested he be banned for playing a suppossed future audio clip of a newscast regarding obama's assassination.
 
Right. That makes sense. "Please stop posting obama assassination clips. Pretty please. With a cherry on top?" Where do these people come up with this stuff? :D

Sounds like bored people trying to create drama where there isn't any. It's the same bs that gets rumors started and ruins good relationships. I wish I could unplug the entire internet just for a day (for everyone, not just me). /ttiforum/images/graemlins/smile.gif
 
It seems like Eli Mautner is either fake, or a lowly government intern hoping that he gets noticed. For kicks and giggles I search Myspace/Facebook/Twitter for Eli Mautner and nothing.
 
This F# guy is clever, or it's a pretty clever GLP promotion stunt. Whatever. The "answering a question before it's asked" stunt is entertaining, no doubt. I'd be more impressed if he pulled that trick on multiple forums. Then it would be a pretty good indicator that admins/mods weren't in on it.

Who's autobiography ? Yours ? So I take it he thus knows who you are and you are on first name terms. I'm not entirely clear why anyone would reveal their true identity to some complete and quite recent stranger in a time travel forum. Also....even if it is your own alleged autobiography and he revealed information.....there are a host of reasons I would not immediately jump in the air and proclaim " Wow ! Proof of time travel ! "

Not least of which is the possibility of collusion. But even if I accepted that something genuine happened, I'd want to know what sort of information was revealed......whether it was something specific like ' You will win $138.56 at the races on September 23rd 2009 at 3pm'......or something general and vague like ' You will get a new job in 2010 '.

Also....as with psychics who often ask a lot of questions before they contact long lost Uncle Bert and impress you with how much Bert knows.....I'd want to know just how much you already told the 'time traveller' ( and how much he could have gleaned from the net ) before assessing his revelatory abilities.

Now...one very good reason for asserting that our 'time traveller' is full of bovine excrement is his statements like the following :-

That statement is not science...it is a load of rubbish. It is a mistake made by people with only junior school level knowledge of science..who assume that 'sound' is some sort of universally pervasive property when it is not.

Sound is a rather messy classical physics level ( i.e not the fundamental quantum level ) phenomenon that ONLY exists in the presence of a certain density level of atoms or molecules. Sound is basically a pressure wave...and NOT a property of the particles themselves. Below a certain density level, one will not get sound...because the motion of any particle due to the wave will not be enough to cause it to collide with other particles and thus pass on the wave.

Hence..there is no sound in space. Indeed, unlike gravity and electromagnetic effects from Earth that extend to the Moon and beyond....any sound generated on Earth will never get more than 20 or 30 miles up before the air is too thin to carry the sound any more.

To hear someone talk about sound as if it were connected to all the 'possibilities in the universe' is just complete gibberish. Any scientist will tell you so.

I'd like to see Mr F# take and pass my 'Test For Time Travellers'. Should be a piece of cake for him. But of course, there will be some excuse like " Oh....somehow we cannot resonate at the moment with 2004..the timeline divergence is too much ".

Ya know.....I'm thinking of changing my signature to " Does bovine excrement still smell the same in 2079 ? ".
 
If you are so convinced there is no such things as timetravelers because they will not take your test then why do you keep talking about it? Are you trying to convince us or yourself?
 
Something really fishy is going on at GLP. My IP got banned again.

They are trying to promote free speech by parading that email around saying "we are under attack by the Jews!"... then when I go on there and say "Yeah. We will defend our right to talk about the futuristic assassination the obama." and then ask "why was 369.994 banned?" my post is deleted and my IP banned... again. I am a little sick of this.

I also know why 369.994 was banned but the mod does not want you to know why. GLP is the dump of the internet.
 
Well...just a couple of minutes ago I heard someone messing around my place outside by the airconditioner and brave soul I am I went outside and seen some bald guy in a white teeshirt out there doing Godknows what. I said "Hey! what are you doing?" and he just turned and slowly walked away.
I am going to go back out in a little bit and see if the butt head returns.
What the heck. Was he trying to steal my airconditioner? I also noticed my cable wires and other wires are there. He was doing something because I heard him like he was fixing it or something. He wasn't quiet about it at all. What the hell. /ttiforum/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I didn't reveal my information. I asked him about a word I had made up and use frequently as a usernane(not here however) and if it is signifigant in his future. He said it was and began reciting off a bunch of basic fact information about me and how important the word and I was. (Last Name, Age, etc.)

This is when I made my "100%" claim. Afterward I began to think wait... Thay was incredibly stupid and did a quick search for the word... Where the first result showed a bunch of the information needed for him to make his story. Thus I changed my post again still being optomistic with an "85%". Then after using the word as search term found most of the remaining information. Therefore i changed my post again, with now a "50%"

Sorry for confusing, but i beilieve i made all my edits before, you made you first reply.

I'm not surprised you fell for the Titor hoax....when you have this habit of taking what someone has said and making it mean something completely different.

I believe in things based on EVIDENCE....not on emotive wishes or 'Oh..wouldn't it be nice if this were true'. Good, hard, solid, scientific evidence.

If a person comes here and claims to be a time traveller....then " Prove it !" is a pefectly reasonable and logical thing to say. I am not the one making the claims....it is the alleged time travellers claiming things. If these people wish to come here and put themselves 'on trial' for their claims.....then I expect " beyond all reasonable doubt " to be the criteria !!

Just a pity the gullible got in the way of that happening with Titor.
 
I don´t mean to be rude, Twilight, but you are coming off as a bit of a jerk. Why insult the people who are still not 100% convinced that this is a hoax, yet? And what is with the hostility. This website is called the "Time Travel Institute"-- if you don´t believe time travel exists why spend so much time here? Secondly, if you are so convinced this is a hoax why continue trying to debunk it? Fair enough, you believe it is a hoax and you are most likely right... but if this thread is really pissing you off because of people´s guilability, why don´t you just walk away?
