What? I get threatened with being banned by one moderator for mentioning the Zeshua discussion in this thread, even as another moderator not only deems it appropriate to do so but then encourages me to do the same as well? And this is your idea of "common courtesy"?

My time is increasingly limited, Ray, getting ready for TSHTF and all, doncha know. I see that you're waiting all pins and needles for my response to your latest semantics challenge, but I don't see the point. Regardless of whether your own tunnelvision perspective recognizes the given sequence as a authentic feedback loop, the average person would, and that's good enough for me.

Interestingly enough he also said that the thread will be deleted by tomorrow night. This will determine whether it is actually a GLP publicity stunt or not. If it is, then kudos to the moderators. Well thought out.

Wrong again. Feedback dynamics is not at all a semantics issue. It is science through-and-through. But I would not expect someone as weak in science as you to have an appreciation for it. It is just that you love to throw around claims and judgments about things you know nothing about.

Regardless of whether your own tunnelvision perspective recognizes the given sequence as a authentic feedback loop, the average person would, and that's good enough for me.

And the average person would be as wrong as you are, for no other reason than they do not understand the physics and mathematics that govern when something actually is a feedback loop, as opposed to when someone thinks it might be.

If there is anyone playing semantics, it has been you...ever since you arrived here. And there is quite a bit of evidence here to prove it.

Agreed. If he is a fake, atleast we all got a nice interactive scifi short story out of it.
 
I am Now currently 100% conivnced that he is the real deal. Or an exceptionally good hacker.

Now see who is playing with semantics! Please show me exactly where I deemed it appropriate to do any such thing in this thread! Please show me exactly where I encouraged you to say anything at all about Zeshua in this thread! In fact, I shall repeat my own words:

Nothing about your favorite TT hoaxer in that statement. And nor did I encourage you to even mention Z in this thread. In fact, I referenced the other thread.

And Peter dares try to fool people with semantics while accusing me of playing semantic games! I would say you should be banned just for that! But since KerrTexas and I have established a partnership here, I do not exercise the power of the ban without consulting him.

But let it be known, Peter, that with you playing semantic games of your own (ever since you came) and now accusing me, a Mod, of doing that which you do willfully... you are skating on very thin ice indeed.

I always apply a well known principle that's as valid as Occam's razor.....namely that " Incredible claims require incredible evidence ".

I have no doubt there are people out there a lot craftier than Titor, who could put together a pretty 'convincing' hoax. But it would take ( as with claims of ghosts, UFOs, psychic powers, etc ) a substantial amount of good solid evidence to convince me that anyone was a time traveller.

The ability to make predictions would be only a part of that evidence. Even the 'Test For Time Travellers' is not a 'proof' of time travelling but primarily a means of weeding out those who are obvious fakes.

But frankly.....with so many people from the future claiming to have internet access in the past...the fact that NOBODY has yet taken up my challenge speaks volumes.

I'm not all that familiar with GLP but I do agree that every "TT " attempts to mimic Titor with predictions such as (as paraphrased by Peter)


He says that the US goes thru amazing changes soon, and our universities transform and become places of greater cultural value and relevance.

Now there's a definitive prediction that is concrete, unambiguous and subject to absolute verification without reference to any subjective interpretation.

If you consider Quoting from your future autobiography information about you that you thought only you knew incredible evidence, then he has. He was here last night at about 9 and we communicated through p.m.

Deleting the thread will be more evidence that it is a GLP publicity stunt. Really, that's the only prediction they can actually make happen. Just now they've posted a purported email from some government guy (using a gmail address, and who doesn't appear to exist according to Google) demanding that they remove the thread.

OMG! Damien was right! Will he come back to voice chat to tell us more?! Oh, the drama! Oh, the suspense!
