I agree with you to the extent that local US Waco events would not result in the Olympics being cancelled worldwide. According to his story the Waco incidents are the precursors to open civil war in the US, followed by a collapse of Western stability in 2005 and a world war in 2015.

To avoid the necessity of over interpreting his statements let's just look directly at them.

Thus "civil war" is armed conflict not a debating society. There's not much room for interpretation there because Titor himself supplied the definition of the meaning within the context of his saga.

Therefore, the Olympics would have been cancelled after 2004 because there was an armed conflict going on inside the USA - a civil war and not just some Waco Incidents.

The Olympics will run on time, but may not complete.(I can't make up my mind,judging by past history on his predictions, The Olympics will finish).

The perception of Titor will remain the same, Even after 2015 - remember we are looking for Nuclear War.

Remember, Its not about the timeline or the predictions- It is about the desire to understand that drives people to his predictions and what they do with that information.

A real study into the human psyche.

I just had a fun thought, I think I am going to look into sportsbook and see who has the best odds to bring home the gold between the events. Kinda get into It. I'll edit post when I have more info.

You say this as if you believe "perceptions" is some singular, group-think sort of thing. Clearly, each person has their own perceptions on Titor's predictions. Those who insist upon being "true believers" always tend to ignore or minimize (make excuses?) for all of those predictions of Titor's that have failed. There will always be such people, and even WHEN the Olympics begin (and end) in Beijing come August, these people will no doubt come up with more excuses for why we should still believe Titor was real.

Those are people who, IMO, refuse to live in the reality most of us embrace, and instead continue to wish to live in a fantasy world.

No, I do NOT think that banning Iraqi athletes from the Olympics is going to cause them to NOT be held! And no, no matter how much you twist Titor's words, he did NOT predict this event. And the same goes for Zeshua (Peter!).

I am still waiting for anyone to take me up on a bet that the Olympics will "officially" (to use Titor's word) open and close. Back when I started this thread I would have given you 1:1 odds. But if you want to bet now the odds are going to be a LOT less even.

By all means. I would wager bragging right that the 2008 Olympics will not happen. And I agree about Iraq...Many nations in history have been denied participation in the Olympics for a variety of reasons.
The only thing Titor ever mentioned about Iraq was that "BS war hype" which was spot on. SO YEAH! Those 08 Olympics... not gonna happen.

Something is gonna go down in China.. I don't know what but I would bet that after it happens that China will stop exporting goods to the US as a result of whatever is gonna get the Olympics Canceled.

We shall find out in two weeks.

A big difference being from what I understand is that this virus is jumping from human to human instead of from pig to human... which could be a very big problem.

Mystery Fatal Hemorrhagic Disease in Shandong China

"China reported that approximately 20 days ago, a man suddenly died from an unidentified disease in Wanjiakou Village, Xiaoguan Town, Wendeng City, Shandong Province. His entire body turned dark purple, and he bled from his mouth, nostrils, ears, and eyes just as he died.

Shortly after the man died, 2 other men who been in contact with him, died showing the same symptoms. Villagers who had left the village to work said "3 people died 10 days ago. 6 or 7 more are being treated in the Wendeng Central Hospital. People have been to the area to investigate, but they are unable to classify the disease."

The above comments from ProMED describe a contagious hemorrhagic disease in China. There are some similarities with an outbreak that began in Sichuan province at this time in 2005. The symptoms were very similar and matched symptoms linked to the 1918 pandemic. The Sichuan outbreak had linkages to swine and was said to be linked to a common swine bacterium that had turned more virulent. However, the time and location of the earlier outbreak raised concerns of linkage to H5N1, which can cause the same symptoms.

Similarly, the current outbreak in Wendeng is on the west side of the Yellow Sea (see satellite map). North and South Korea are on the east side, where H5N1 has been suspected or confirmed.



<font color="blue"> The condition sounds like H5N1 bird flu. H5N1 has neurotropic aspects and a boxun report describes patient's skin turning dark, which was a classical description of soldiers dying from pandemic flu in 1918.

In 1918 pandemic flu was frequently mis-diagnoses, and the large number of H5N1 variants produce a variety of symptoms, including bleeding under the skin. The index case in Thailand was initially diagnosed as dengue hemorrhagic fever because of bleeding and a mysterious illness in Thailand was very similar to the cases in China. The Thai case was linked to the slaughter of a wild boar, but a final diagnosis was not made.

Initial reports suggest the current outbreak in China is due to the slaughter of sheep or pigs. H5N1 infection of sheep has not been reported previously, but prior to last year there were no reports of H5N1 in cats or H3N8 in dogs. H5N1 appears to be expanding its host range and the earlier boxun report on H5N1 in Qinghai included the deaths of sheep. 400 sheep have also been reported to have mysteriously died in Mongolia. Thus, the sheep in Mongolia and Sichuan province in China, as well as dead birds in Xinjiang Province in China and Novisibirsk in Russia have pretty much encircled the Qinghai Lake region as H5N1 radiates outward as migratory birds continue to migrate.
