I am from the year 2522

Did you just read the last line???

Read the second last line... In fact, here it is:
In a controlled process, chain reactions can be harnessed to produce electrical energy in a nuclear power plant.

What do you think nuclear power plants do? What do you think BNFL do?

James

well I was sure the fission one is the safe one because we use the safe one in the future.

So do you have nuclear fusion?

I think you're just stalling now.

Yes, we have nuclear fusion. But no, we don't use it as an energy source. The conditions can only be currently created under immence heat - it's common use is inside a fission bomb creating a h-bomb which is far more powerful than the a-bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Fusion power would be reguarded as clean, because the fuel would be water and the waste would be helium.

I'm going home now - plenty of time for you to come up with an excuse - oh and don't use the old 'whoops' I made a mistake between the two. As a historian, there shouldn't be confusion. Or you can just give up the ghost and apologise. I'm really not bothered one way or the other.

James

I thought your power plants used nuclear fusion and not fission.
Look, chrono... you have been summarily debunked...many times, in fact. This one is just your biggest faux pas, and it exhibits your lack of knowledge from here on out...especially of history, something you claim to be an expert on.

When are you going to say uncle?

sorry I must of got them mixed up but I don't see how I did. I was positive that I was right but the words do sound similar
That is the least of your worries! You've got much bigger things you need to explain (which you seem to be conveniently ignoring):

1) Why does a historian have such poor word usage (re: my comment on your use of "stuff")?
2) Why does a historian have incorrect knowledge of Three Mile Island (anthrax....huh....yeah!), and other major events related to nuclear fission?

I'll make it clear to you again: Your spoof has been laid bare. If you wish to continue this charade, the replys will just try to trip you up even further. You look silly enough right now...perhaps you want to cut your losses!

If your from 2522 and have good contacts with the lizairn or what ever there name may be, please give an example of their antomny and plese provide descriptions and diagrams of their organs. and maybe a short write up on their behavior and eating habits? or even the mating habits? for a historin this should be childs play. as i think we could all give a description of a giant lizard if we were friendly with it for that many years.

I think you'll find all the answers in this miniseries

Oh, did I mention the Zager & Evans phenomenon already?

Rainman' one bird, ONE BIRD, took out the entire ILS system at LAX yesterday.

Uuugh' is there a coincidence with our little freind showing up here.

Huugghhmmhh, )))clears throat(((.

Hey Keven,

This is what Chronohistorian said about Lizarans:

I know the planets the extraterrestrials are on but I wouldn't be able to do it on a map (can't read maps properly). Anyway the american government is in contact with one lot of aliens right now(the lizarans and yes they do look a bit like lizards). They are trying to get them to trade technology but they won't at this moment except for technology that they had about 1000 years ago. The lizarans get oil back (it is a delicacy drink where they are).

To everyone:
I talked to Chronohistorian. My nickname is Guy D.(not disclosing the last name at this moment) and I write short Science Fiction stories. I haven't written very much right now. Chronohistorian knows the color of my girlfriend's hair (which is distinct). He knows how many chidren that I will have. He says that my stories will be studied in English class in his time. He knew that the name Sarah has a special meaning to me.

I am not saying you have to believe him or me. You can believe what you want to believe. It is up to you.

Peaceout,
Tracy a.k.a. Guy D. The Sci-Fi writer.

I have a question. How come your English sounds a lot like our English? If you think about it, wouldn't the English language have evolved to sound a little different. 500 years is a long time. Heck, Shakespear is less than 500 years old and it is confusing as hell to try to read and understand.

Rainman' one bird, ONE BIRD, took out the entire ILS system at LAX yesterday.
For once, Creedo, I am going to ask you to go with your "suspicious" tendency. The company I work for (Northrop-Grumman) is located immediately south of LAX 24L runway complex. I was out around 9:30 traveling to another building and saw what was going on. I don't believe the "bird" line we are hearing in the news. I don't know if our "friend" here has any connection, but I would not doubt an attempt by Al Qaeda to "probe" security and responses at LAX. It's public knowledge that LAX was a target of Al Qaeda back in 1999...and some say they had plans for it on 9/11 that were thwarted.

All speculation, of course... but I don't buy the bird story.

What do you work with rainman? If it's so big to have it's own cover-up, you must be knee deep in it?
What do you mean "cover-up"? I simply stated that I work right next to LAX airport, and happened to be outside during the power outage event.

I work on the civilian space program. Previously, I was working on the Orbital Space Plane, which was a NASA project to develop a small vehicle that could be used for crew transfer and rescue for the space station. That program was canceled in favor of our new goal by our president to return to the Moon, prove long-term space habitation technology, and then send man to Mars. That is what I am working on now....all above board. In fact, NASA just released their "Level 0" requirements for the Constellation program and its centerpiece Crew Exploration Vehicle. I'd bet you can find them somewhere on the NASA website.
