I agree that people on this site are bs, but let's play advocate's devil for a minute. Even a time traveler has subjective time and doesn't automatically know everything from the past. It's like claiming that you should know everything that happened in the past few years. Everything. You could get the general details, but there would surely be things you missed. Claiming to be a time traveler is quite different from claiming to be a god. /ttiforum/images/graemlins/smile.gif
 
Hmm, instead of answers, more evasions... private messages... yeah. So that we BELIEVE he gives others answers but can't have them ourselves. Ridiculous.
And another prediction that's a month away, just to keep us talking for another month. Blatantly ridiculous.

Ok, let me make a prediction, because I'm from the future as well who just pretended not to be because of clandestine observation (or insert some other shady excuse here)! Woohoo!

How long do we have to wait for these private messages? No mention of a date. I am not talking anymore about this until I receive those private messages. Everyday that goes by I will lose interest in it. I am not a time traveler so lots of things happen inbetween my "wait time".

Time travelers should realize that. I still don't think you should ever have to "wait" on a time traveler. Unless they have a genetic disease like "the time travelers wife" Where one would not be able to control when they arrive or go. They should atleast be considerate of the people who they are talking to.

I absolutely agree with that. I was addressing, more specifically, this thread that the TT/OP started. It's probably asking way too much for him/her to have read his own threads in order to know what to expect before it occurs here in the past.

Oddly, that begs the question of just when did the OP write the posts and why if did he bother to write them at all if he'd already read them at sometime in the future as artifacts of the past? Why did he even bother to time travel to conduct his experiment if it had already occured in the past and he had access to all of the data, again, as artifacts of the past?

Well, I thought from the beginning that this was a game - specifically, an ARG. In that context, it really started out quite well. In particular, the answered-before-asked questions were a very nice touch!

Unfortunately, indie games implode more often than not, and frequently immediately after launch, for many different reasons. In this case (if it was indeed intended to be an ARG) the puppetmaster's mistake was not setting up an in-game site and rather trying to play it out on several forums over which he had no control.

Pity. I was looking forward to playing.

It was on the original GLP thread. Again, I am referring to this in terms of staging a game. It certainly didn't require actual time travel to make his replies - with quoting - appear to come before the question was asked, just two IP addresses to post from. Still, it was a nice trick

Tell us any events that are going to happen before this week is up or during it. If it a earthquake? It has to be.
What time did it happen?
What day it happen on?
In what city, state and country it happen in?
What magnitude it's going to be?

If your are from the future and a war didn't wipe out history. If history were lost in a war? Then you are mainly guessing of what had happen in your past.

At this point who really gives a damn? You've already made allusions to the threads that you've posted from the POV of coming from the future. You, if you really were what you claim to be, know what was "coming next" on the thread.

It still begs the question as to why would you bother posting if the posts had already been made. Answer is still the same: Moron.

Your failing, as is the case with just about every TT hoaxer, is the inability to think outside the box as it applies to the implications of time travel.

Did you ever think he doesn't want to know what happens next? It would be like reading the last chapter in a book first. What would be the point of posting if you know what would happen. And if he now has no point for posting, then he won't post. If he doesn't post, then he wouldn't be able to know what the posts were, and would then be compelled to post, and so on and so forth...

So the only way to have a real conversation(which is what he claims to want) is to not know the conversation.
