Yep he no time traveler for sure. Even if he were a time traveler. Who is he afraid of? Do we have a time traveler on this site that no one know about? I bet that time traveler doesn't know he/she is or going be a time traveler.

So what is the verdict on this guy?

Given an exact time and date for this future assassination, now that is brave. If it is some hoaxer he can be held responsible if the attack does occur regardless of whether it is on the mentioned date.

I am still genuinely interested in seeing how this pans out.

Does anyone know who has been chosen yet?

But that doesnt matter because its a Staged assassination. So it shouldn't Make difference as he is (or will be) in on it.

You could be talking to me, however that is not the name I go by...but of course, you could always be talking of the "workers of the light's" "champion" or "messiah". The one who will save them all from the "darkness". If which, this is the one you speak of, I recommend everyone stay away of such "savior", that is, unless you prefer enlightenment and world peace over free will.
