Staged? No setting President is going to staged his or her own assassination. Even if someone tried to shot or poison the President. There not going to be any martial law call. On the other hand, martial law might be call. The blacks will be rioting in ever cities in the US. Think about it. Obama the first black President get assassinated. There going to be rioted in US. cities streets. Also no time traveler are going to announce certain events in their history were stage by the government. They will say, this is what going happen in your near future. But there are some from my time and after the event, believe it was stage.

Let's stop a moment and look at this presumed "staged" assassination idea.

To be significant, the victim has to be important. So an event is staged. What then? They can't go back into public life by saying "We were just fooling you." They have to disappear for good.
So what's the point of the victim co-operating? Is he or she going to spend the rest of his or her life in a monastery?

It doesn't play.

I propose (and it ought to be self evident to anyone whose brain isn't off on a trip through time ) that the whole story by F# is pure B.S. and he threw the "staged" qualification in because if he said it was a real assassination, a government type might come knocking on his door.

My prediction is that long before the end of September, F# will have disappeared forever into the mists of time to make inter-dimensional babies, or whatever (lol).

Since we are now off in koo-koo land, you know there are people who have believed for quite a few years now that Obama would become President, and there would be an assassination attempt on him, of which he would barely survive (like seriously injured for a while). And once recovering he would have the soul of the anti-christ take over his body.

I swear I have heard at least 5 different people repeat this claim - no not saying this many people make it true - just that many people believe things like this (which right now surely seem koo-koo.

Well, I guess we have 27 days to find if this is true eh?

Hypothetically, If no evidence was revealed by the time travelers time that it was an inside job, then he would say either believed to be staged or would just state the event. However if 20 years from now a recording of former president bush and his government buddies sitting around in a dimily lit room going over the final plans on operation 9/11 then the Time Traveler would probably say "staged 9/11 attacks"

Like wise, If obama's proclaimed future staged assassination occurs, and then Obama walks in the door 5 years later, then a Time Traveler could confidently say "staged assassination"
 
I don't think staged automatically means the person isn't really assassinated in the sense they are hiding in a trap door. Staged could simply mean the person is aware that there will be an attempt on their life.

Such as like on the movie Hitman (games are much better but the movie was decent).

I actually wasn't thinking he would be replaced...well unless the whole "anti-christ taking over his body after near death"...but, you know I like to make guesses in the real world.

If it is staged...and it really occurs...then I would say Obama knew about it ahead of time. Whether is is "part" of such a said conspiracy, doesn't mean he is compliant. Could be completely out of his power to stop or change. He has tried to get a lot done over these first few hundred days, either he is trying to capitalize on his popularity (could be) or maybe he knew his time would be short?

Then again, even though I said staged could just mean "he was aware of it", I personally took him saying "staged" to mean like....REAL, but put on a stage for the world to see, designed ahead of time for a purpose. Typically you assassinate your threats, however, Obama might not be a threat to them, in fact he could be their sacrificial lamb (pun intended maybe?) to push whatever following agenda that would occur.

Or, we could wake up on the 28th and nothing has happened.
 
I believe what the experiment is? I could be wrong. It was in plane sight all this time. He announce a certain event going to happen, and we argue about. While he set and read our responds to his post.
 
I mean, think like this. If you are in the year 2100, you set a date, say Sept. 1st 2009 20:00 hours, how could you miss such a time? Why would you need a break? 100 days could pass between connection/transmission and all you would have to do is respond right after that time. Do you get what I'm saying?

Correct. A hundred days, a hundred years or a hundred generations could pass and his great-great-great...grand-child could post the next message following his at and time and on any site of his/her choosing. He might need a break but that doesn't mean that at this end we necessarily see the break.

It's typical linear non-time travel thinking by a would-be time traveler who hasn't put in the grunt work (home work) before posting their saga.

All time traveling societies appear to have looked back to 1963 and President LBJ's notions on who should be the first astronauts: expendibles - professional wrestlers, destruction derby drivers or chimps. They always seem to choose the chimps.
