Greetings.

As I posted earler, wiki "Lastworditis".

Hey- how's the triangulating of my IP address going? Inquiring minds want to know...

To salvage whatever we can from otherwise apparent waste of time, I watched The Science Channel show on "the science of Star Wars" and thought of a way light sabers and laser pistols could actually work-

High atomic plasmatics. Elements in the high range with a very short half-life. As Bob Lazar once said (and recent science seems to agree with), there is a "higher plateau" within the periodic table to where element 116+ can exist in a stable (as in, somewhat inert) form.

How about say, element 140 with a half-life which, when energized, diffuses within the Planck range (with conservation, naturally) contained in a "holder"? Powered/continuously energized by a nine volt battery that, when turned on, will emit a "cold fusion half-life charge" AKA a "light saber"? Huh? Huh??? The light-energy would shoot out and decay within a Planck Range, producing a "light-saber" approx, 48 inches long? Anyone?

>Oh and my topic got 99 replies and 300+ views in only about 4-5 days or so. OWNT<

Good job, Shadow_CDC. I mean, Watcher. I mean, Kakusagan.

>It's just the internet man calm down! [censored] doesn't matter on here!<

Yes- the internet is 99.999% anonymous, and you are well within that range of "the quickly forgettables".

You know the #1 difference between you and me? I will be here in a year. You will not.

And you know the worst part? When you're well within that anonymous 99.999% and you still lost.

Now buh bye

I guess you guys are too stupid to realise what I was doing.

No, JK. These guys aren't "stupid". They're just human. You tried to make them angry, and with some of them - you've succeeded. And once again, if that makes you feel good, you have a huge problem.

There is absolutely no challenge in what you've done here. As you mentioned yourself, getting (most) other people pissed off is very easy. So what the heck are you so proud of? You think that this kind of behavior makes you a winner? Think again, bro. Life is just waiting for you to quit your nonsense and get going.

See, you guys are against me but even when I try to be nice someone has to insult me.

That's the other side of being human. If you piss people off, they aren't going to be nice to you.

I guess this puts an end to your illusion of "being in control of other people's emotions", doesn't it? Getting people angry is easy. The real challenge is to get the same people you pissed of to forgive you. And I'll give you a hint: It's possible even without an apology.

If you succeed in doing that, you'll have a genuine reason to be proud of yourself.

Sheer technobabble. And you heard that piece of BS on the "Science Channel"? What is this world becoming into?

>getting (most) other people pissed off is very easy.<

Unfortunately, there are some people in the world who were brought up poorly- whether it be from a lack of attention as a child or simply had "crack parents". These offspring untimately seek attention any way they can: to them, even negative attention is good attention (Sigo- see: a mirror).

>Sheer technobabble. And you heard that piece of BS on the "Science Channel"? What is this world becoming into?<

You are really turning out to be a poor specimen as a sentient human being and for that I truly pity you.

To you, reality is "everything every professor ever told you and everything you ever paid attention to in a book"; to you, reality is nothing more than an incomplete equasion (which explains why you're here arguing with a fool like me); to you, you only know "truth" when someone pats you on the head and tells you it's the truth.

It is so unfortunate that your sentience is limited by your sentience; it is so sad that the limits of your understanding is limited by the limits of your understanding- I bet your dreams are mostly mathematical and they always end prematurely, which always leaves you grasping for more and yearning for a deeper understanding of what you are. In this regard I am your only friend because I truly understand you- as I said- I pity you.

"BERKELEY, CA — Discovery of two new "superheavy" elements has been announced by scientists at the U.S. Department of Energy's Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Element 118 and its immediate decay product, element 116, were discovered at Berkeley Lab's 88-Inch Cyclotron by bombarding targets of lead with an intense beam of high-energy krypton ions. Although both new elements almost instantly decay into other elements, the sequence of decay events is consistent with theories that have long predicted an "island of stability" for nuclei with approximately 114 protons and 184 neutrons.
'We jumped over a sea of instability onto an island of stability that theories have been predicting since the 1970s,' said nuclear physicist Victor Ninov who was first author of a paper that has been submitted to Physical Review Letters.

So as I said- stable, high atomic elements energized with a nine volt battery emitting a stream of virtual particles, or a "light saber".

Calling Darby!!

Jmpet, your lack of logic really amazes me.

Yes, the island of stability is real. The rest of what you wrote, however, is - as I said - sheer technobabble.

"Plank Range" is at energies 10^20 (!) times higher than the energies of nuclear physics. That's a 100 billion billion times higher. Anyone with the most basic knowledge in high energy physics can tell that the "Science Channel" really goofed up this time.

And you really need to start kicking that habit of yours, of arguing about topics you have absolutely no idea about. You're only making yourself look stupid.

It's obvious Joe associates angry people with weakness and getting people angry with "winning".
I fail to see where he actually got anybody angry at him so I guess that means according to his philosophy he actually "lost" which means he is really a loser after all.
This is really messed up philosophy and I hope he out grows it or gets help if he needs it.

There are consequences to getting people angry and if he succeeds in doing this he will not feel like much of a winner. I have a feeling he will find this out someday.

Much respect to you Turk and the 101st screaming eagles.

Well...

At least he cleared the air about his cool clothes, cool car and hot girlfriend.

He made all of that up to get the geeks and nerds angry...

Huh? /ttiforum/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Yes, back to the topic at hand.

What I have done the past week or so was for a expirement. It was a requirement for me to pass my class. I created a hostile situation within a group consisting of 2 or more people. As a bonus I even started a chain reaction it seems.

Sorry for everything that I did but, it had to be done.

Sincerely,
Joe

Kaku Sagan,

What I have done the past week or so was for a expirement. It was a requirement for me to pass my class.

No, you didn't have that assignment. You're an undergrad at a community college. The Psych Department has strict ethical standards for undergrad, lower division class psych experimental design, human experimental subject standards and blind study standards. Lower division undergrads who don't know what they're doing (not because they aren't bright but because they don't have the necessary coursework and maturity) aren't assigned to do blind human behavior-behavior modification & manipulation studies on the Internet. PhD candidates and post-docs might get such authorization.

Of course APA might have changed the standards for undergrads since I graduated with my degree in Experimental Psych...but I could always check with the office at Green River to confirm.

Care to give us the class (number and name) fro the course so that we can verify? Professor's name? If you're not telling yet another tall tale we are entitled to know those items if we were subjects of a college authorized experiment.

Okay then- let's play a game. In your hands is a light saber. Your job is to figure out and explain in common words how it works with the tools of physics and imagination. This is the methodology Einstein and Hawking use- this is how to take leaps of logic.

Hi Joe. That's very interesting. I was going to post before I read your last reply that you like to fight. Your profession fits you very well. Good luck to you. Obviously, you've read about John Titor.I am curious as to why you'd state that he was Black-OPs. Is that part of your interest, also and creating conflict? That's interesting.

I liked you better when you were a time traveller from the future... Both stories are lies, but the TT one is much more interesting /ttiforum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Okay, I'll play.

But first, tell me exactly what this "light saber" is supposed to do. Once you give me a solid description, I'll do my best to reverse engineer the "device" you described.
