Firstly, hello. If what I am about to claim is true, your question is undoubtedly why am I posting here?

There is no one I can confront to discuss this topic in seriousness. I will be easily escorted into a behavioral health facility and never be taken taken seriously by anyone. Even online, there is simply nowhere else to find a discussion on this subject matter at face value.

Obviously, I am from the future. The year is irrelevant to this discussion. Time travel is not as straight forward as this period views the idea. I am now trapped in this age for the rest of my life without hope for rescue or repairability to return. The device we use is a one-way path. Many have made this trip throughout history both voluntarily and forced. Our now shared future has no ability to track past travelers lifetimes when I left.

I came to this age on purpose. My life and family will never be the same, leaving me with nothing left to live for. I suffer from PTSD, anxiety, and depression from my traumatic events. You could say this is me gambling to make my life meaningful.

That leads me to my point of all this. April 12th will change world history forever. Current tensions with Russia are obviously covered. After the refusal to transport the American onboard the international space station, Russian tensions grow remarkably higher.

I refuse to give away countries and times. I am a believer in the fact that god chose who lives and survives, not myself. However, on the day of April 12th nuclear war begins. The entire planet will suffer as a result. Extinction will narrowly be missed.

So why would I pick now, the worse period in our global history to come? I am ready to dedicate myself to the efforts of survival for man kind. I have traveled to a safe location in the United States short term. I have brought with myself funding to aquire the items needed to survival and assist. Having the knowledge of knowing what happens is a blessing and curse. My odds of survival are low; however, this is my chance to do something special with my life.

I'm sorry for an overly saddened tone. I have no words of comfort for what is to come. I'll try to answer any questions to the best of my abilities without being overly specific or personal. As you can imagine, opening up about this has my mind racing.

I just wish you would have come and written us a bit earlier before this escalation took place - it would make your story a bit more believable as the invasion occurred. At this point, you simply seem to be taking advantage of current events to try and strike fear into your audience through a cliche message that "The end is near".

Psychology would suggest that you seek validation of your fear and knowledge, as well as a sense of control/ security, and that you fantasize about a clean slate for your life. The last point clearly resonates with your story. If so, my wish for you is that you are able to take small, cumulative steps to help improve your life!

Time travel is like shooting an arrow. You always aim for the goal but often due to other factors you miss your mark. My target window was between February and March. I arrived on March 4th, which gives me more than a month to make the preparations I need. I am happy about that.

I entered with nothing to my name. A complete blank in this times history. The clothes on my back and what I could fit into my winter jacket and pockets is all I could bring. Technology is untransportable. This times currency isn't. That's all I needed to make the purchases I need and I continue to accumulate to prepare.

Especially the clean state but I go into this with the expectations of my eventual death. I simply wish to make the most of my existence. I do want to point out though that there is a possibility that both the "message" and the "messenger" might be pushing a false narrative, with the two having that in common. I'm sorry I didn't make that clear in my initial post.

As for the original "message" itself, as well as the "messenger's" excuse for "arriving too late", it doesn't make too much sense to me anyway.

Again, please no ad hominem attacks guys. I think this is an interesting topic though. I like to pay attention to these theories too,, they are interesting thought experiments if nothing else, and not all of it is completely dismissable. Not all of it is true though, either. My stance is more observation and rubber-necking, but in 2022 I think any theory is as valid as the next until I'm personally convinced otherwise. Everyone else is on their own journey and we're all reality theorists now. This is better suited for the conspiracy forum though.

This reply was actually quite good. It's been a while since we had a traveler who doesn't resort to child-like evasion and digs in with additional details about time travel being like "firing an arrow".

I've heard rumors about a nuke going off in a particular city in a particular country. Pure schizo-posting I saw elsewhere, but it was interesting. Do you know anything about what I'm referring to?

By "narrowly miss extinction", do you mean only a certain area or enclave survived?

At first events that occurred are horrible but contained to two continents. The loss of life is high, but overall wouldn't have endangered human numbers. Unfortunately, this would only be the beginning and more follow-ups happen soon after due to public outrage and lost rationality. That begins the upcoming issue.

With so much chaos food shortages begin leading to unstoppable violence around the world. Water will become a precious resource that is heavily protected by survival groups. The sun will cause damage to nature. Technology is halted as it slowly is effected. Fallout sickness and storms increase to levels that make life difficult and unrecognizable.

That is very bleak to read, I apologize. This won't be the end. Everyone will adapt, and the result is a stronger cooperative world. I want to bring calmness in chaos with my life.

I have brought personal photos, a stuffed toy and money. Technology can not be transported here and differences aren't as drastic as you'd expect. If you look at the space station from a different perspective perhaps it would be more possible to believe a scenario regarding it. There is a specific headline today too that illustrates a hint.

This article from ArsTechnica posted yesterday details in a pretty convincing manner that there is no credible threat to the life of any astronaut aboard the station due to political reasons. Also - you mentioned only a singular American pilot twice above when there currently four Americans aboard the station ?. So, are they just going to single out one?

Like the space station, your time travel claim is already on course to crash and disintegrate. Ironically, while you have not traveled in time, the astronauts aboard the space station have, relative to those on Earth - via time dilation.

The photos are personal to me. If I were to show you, nothing would seem unusual. Maybe outfits? Regardless I wish to keep them to myself. I brought them to always be with my family not as proof.

Also, I have said one astronaut the entire time. Only one of the American crew is due to rotate out. If you type in the search iss threat you will see an article from earlier today. If you find it to be a reliable source or not is entirely up to you.

I hope you don't find me rude in tone. You have every right in the world to view me as correct or incorrect. Perhaps even crazy.

There are many many small details that all add up to the bigger picture. I do strongly believe that persons statement to be false. One thing I find interesting is learning those small details first hand as the days go.

I think it is amazing that you want to find greater meaning into your situation. Hold tight your photo, toy and currency as best you can. What do you mean when you mention about technology not being transported here ? When you talk about currency do you refer to blockchain ? So we have about a month of work to do before this potential problem event ? What do you see as a way that you can make an impact now using this medium to sculpt an divergent outcome ? We simply don't know how to transport technology into the past. For whatever reason, the internals are broken.

It's extremely hard to experiment as well. If someone or an item is sent deep into the past, there is no way of knowing the outcome. The only reason we know traveling backwards works is due to experiments in the short term past. We have made progress traveling forward but it serves no usefulness currently. I'm certain one day that will be a more useful but scary breakthrough.

I have brought a sizeable amount of paper money. The problem was carrying it. Currently, I have almost maxed out my budget. I have purchased a truck and survival items/foods. I'm deathly afraid of someone breaking into it. I live in my vehicle.

There is now less than a month left. I encourage no one to be afraid of my warning. Of course it is scary to think of. Just enjoy and be thankful we all have experienced it. Everything will go as it is meant to be, it always will!

My talents are low. I was a member of the military for 4 years. Personal events happened to the point of acquiring enough wealth to travel. I am calm under pressure and trained enough in survival to become a guide for others. That's seriously it. I want to make a difference with my life, I have nothing left.
