Anti-Time Travel

Scientist,
Who are you refering to, and what are you talking about...? For someone who accuses us of not having the grand knowledge you seem to poseses about Time Travel, you sure are vague and unwilling to share your ideas. Prove it to us. Show us that our common sense of the events time travel will make are false.

Your all talk... Let's see if you got any bite to that bark of yours.

-Javier C.

I am unwilling to share my ideas with you because I want the credit for them and they have not been published yet. If someone were to help me find a respected journal to get my theories published in then I will share them. But only after publication.

Mankind will never stop in it's quest for knowledge, it's desire to go beyond boundries. It has brought us to the technologies and medicine we have today. Our curiosity is insatiable. With every gain is a tradgedy. This is life. Sad but true. Scientist, you say we know nothing. Maybe so. But at least we're talking and that has always led to doing. To me this is a good thing.

mokrie dela,

I disagree, that's no excuse for humanity to allow something wrong to happen. Your right though about our curiosity and our never ending thirst to gain knowledge.

But that can't justify the "End justify the means" kinda attitude we must all have.

We'll have to have some ethics in the way we use things. Like in medicine and other fields. Like I said again, the opposing side must be emphasized too. Your still only seeing it one sided. Think about the other side for once.

"If you can't argue both sides you know nothing." -Unknown-

Truly,
Javier C.

OK "Scientist", if everyone here is so "ignorant" and you have theories you want published, how about sharing at least what the ideas behind some of these theories are?

It's one thing to claim to have the answers, it another entirely to demonstrate them. Or are they a secret and we have to "take your word" for it? If secret, I guess you better not publish them. If not, let's hear them. So far you haven't really SAID anything except to rail against someone elses Religious views. What does that have to do with Time Travel?

Tell us... What IS Time Travel and how can you prove it is possible? I await your answer with baited breath. I'd LOVE to think it MIGHT be possible. Show us how.

As to whether one chooses to believe in a God or not, I repeat, what does THAT have to do with anything relative to the issue?

You know what, I'll bet you take that last statement and use it to presume something about me. And I'll further bet your presumption will be wrong.

Even though I believe that I have nothing to prove I will share some vague ideas with you. My theories deal with the fourth dimension, the expansion of the universe, black holes, gravity, faster than light travel, anti-gravity, time and how they are all related. If you have heard of some of these ideas before you may be thinking of Einstien's theory of relativity my theories will correct some of the errors in that theory as well as fill in some of the blanks. However my theory is not just a relativity theory my theory deals with much more and relates everthing back to one thing which actually causes the effect of time.

Discover and Popular Science don't publish theories. Science News only publishes articles written by thier editors. So I emailed scientific american and I will try some of the others that pamela suggested.

Activist, I would be the last person to say anyone is wrong. You may be right about everything, but I believe I speak for most here when I say that the desire to find out is too strong to ever walk away from Any discovery. Only a religious zellot could rationalize quiting. Again, it's not that I don't see your point of view, I do, but I would gladly be vaporized trying to time travel. There are more like me out there then like you.

mokrie dela,

Yeah I realize there's more like you out there. Isn't that Sad? Willing to "be vaporized trying to time travel." Sad to hear you'd give up on your life just to Time Travel and to do God knows what with it.

What would you do if you could Time Travel, you haven't answered that question yet.

Oh and I'm not religious. I don't claim any religion, or nor am I spiritual (I don't even like to meditate). I'm just passionate about getting the word out to people (if they will listen) that the opposing side must be discussed before any Time Travel is ever done. Set down the ground rules. Doesn't anyone see the need for that?

Again, and I'll say it again. It's not like a present with pretty wrapping paper that you will be opening. It's a great responsibility... are you responsible enough to know how to use Time Travel?

With the way you sound on your postings, you sound more like a kid at a candy store... Maybe once you've been in my shoes and experienced situations like mine, you'll see what I been saying.

"...gladly be vaporized trying to time travel."

Shheezz, Why?

Truly,
Javier C.

Activist you don't seem to realize that it is impossible to change the past any one can tell you that but time travel is actually permitted by the laws of physics. The uses of time travel are not for changing the past the only possible uses for time travel would be for observation. Once one travels backwards in time they slip into another universe but it would be quite easy for them to return to thier normal time without making any changes no matter what they do.

this I can talk about it is the most logical theory for what happens with time travel. It is called the infinite universes theory look it up you should have no trouble. Unless you are morally opposed to doing research which judging by your posts on this bulletin board you probably are.

P.S. Try researching topics before talking about them.

Moral issues. ME? Only when it comes to Time Travel. Not reading... Didn't I make that clear that I am not religious nor spiritual. I can read whatever I want, I don't care.

By the way, somebody sent me this e-mail... Anyone have an idea who sent it? It might be someone from here.

You have angered me. Please refrain from any of that shit that you think is science. You should just fucking stop this whole look at me I am opposed to everything that I am to much of an asshole to understand.
------------------------------

Anyone know what he's talking about? Don't worry I get angry too, but you need to take deep long breaths and count to 10. Then write your letter. Laterz.

Truly

Activist, I disagree with your views but I'm sorry that you have been bombarded with vulgar and just plain nasty messages. Some remarks were uncalled for and out of line. As for the great scientist visiting our garbage scow, wouldn't a true scientist already know all the science journals and have subscriptions already? Good thing one of our dummies, (Pamala) could help him out. Everyone should realize this is a fun site for sharing ideas and dreams not a meeting of MENSA.
