How many people work on this time travel project?
There is a not too big room in which I meet with three others for tests, etc., whenever the time comes. In it is a smaller, cabinet room where they do paperwork etc., (where we planned to put the cat). On the top there are the big computers, with 3 monitors, one for cameras, one that checks for errors, and another which has the jump program and so on.
Is it independantly or governement funded?
If it were independent, I probably wouldn't have made it through alive..lots of sloppiness when a few individuals do something so complex, so of course government company.
How long has it been in the works and when did the finished product that your using now come out?
The time machine? Publicly, it has been known for about 3 years. No knowing how many have time travelled. Most probably go into the future, nothing much to do in the past really, unless something like this happens.
Have there been other missions, what where they?
Me personally, no. I haven't met anyone else who has. At the center, no one who has actually gone would want to be constantly harassed by questions and skepticism I imagine, so they probably have kept it secret.
Can you just fire it up when ever you want or do you have to have months of tedious planning every time you want to use it?
We can't. You have to have permission. I assume there's a lot of planning as to when and where to be sent, but none that I personally know of. The training was undertaken once you registered at the center, none you really need after that. All they do is do a quick physical, short tests to see body endurance, and then you go and get "cleaned up" for your jump. How they take you from there to the "coffin" I don't know, you just wake up where you're supposed to.
Oh, and where are you getting internet acess on an abondoned farm?
I change the LAN settings on my computer to something I have which has internet.
Can I suggest an expirement for when you get back. Maybe you could go back in time and capture any random flock of dodo birds and see if you can bring them back to your time. Off the bat I can't find anything about this that immediatly conflicts on how you're version of time works. Unlike the cat thing were it was you were changing the known past, in this expirement you are chaning an unkown past and as far as you know it was "meant" for you to take those dodos and therefor not changing the past. Just a thought.
The last time I went to a zoo was over 10 years ago, so they may have reintroduced them. It would be a little hard to go prior to about 50/60 years. The thing is you have to know where you'll reappear. It would take a lot of effort to go back for some dodos.
Is it uncommon for people to know about the bible in your time?
I don't think it's much more different than now.
It's useless to indulge in anger; by my time all responses will be so inhibited that you'd never even know who to get angry with.
