Javier,
OK - I betrayed you. And as moderator, it was my responsibility to pass along the complaints. The other moderators had the same responsibility.
I'll also take responsibility for asking Mary Rowland to give you another chance on P2P (which she said that she would do). What she didn't say, however, was that my email to her arrived the night that Art and Keith returned from "back East" after discussing the BBS situation with the network executives. They shut the BBS down the following morning without notice.
Do you sound like someone who believed Boomer? Frankly, that's not an easy question to answer. Though you probably disagree, I'd say that your position on Titor was "unsettled". You said that you believe in time travel, that there are time travelers present and you that have had personal (and unpleasant) experiences with them. Your ethical position is that time travel is wrong. Most of your arguments concerning Titor seemed to be more relevent to the ethical issue and less so to the fact that he was or wasn't a time traveler.
What I don't (and never have understood) is why you continue to lump me in with those who either outright believed him or were "open minded" thus took wishy-washy positions. My position was and is quite unambiguous: Titor was a 38 year old man, living in Florida or California and our contemporary, not a time traveler. In fact, he was still posting under one of his email addresses on another board as late as two months ago (though not as John Titor and the topic was not time travel).
In any case, we're way OT here. Let us close this, agree that we disagree, and not disrupt someone else's thread. OK?
