I am not one to say what someone is doing right or wrong. Rose-colored glasses? I don't even see how that phrase applies here. I am seeing something as being more pleasant than it really is? Makes no sense here.

Anyway, I will choose to end this conversation as it has no benefit for anyone in the forum. If you have anything else I can answer I will be happy to do so, but this 'conversation' about whatever it is you are going on and on about is a waste of time. If you dislike me less and less, then solve that problem by no longer reading and/or posting in this thread. I am not here to argue like a 5-year-old.

A time traveller supposedly back in 2038 is still around now?? He had at least two sockpuppets, and only one of those is banned so he could always post using the other one. Or just keep up the deeper pretence with his female identity.

As I said in a response to RainManTime, I have been willing to give information to those who are interested while at the same time ensuring that I do not provide any information that should not be revealed. I have not provided any specifics in the area of physics (or any other) that would potentially lead to a negative situation.

As I had mentioned earlier, the only reason I am on this board is to find a time traveler who will send a message to the past for me to save my only son's life from an accident in which he was a passenger. Do you feel that my needs are a valid use for time travel? So many good productive tax paying citizens die in accidents each year, don't you think it would be prudent for a govenment time traveler like yourself to save some of them? Just think, the taxes my son would pay over the next 40 years would cover a huge part of the cost of one of your jumps, figuring in inflation and interest, of course. If you saved 5-10 people like him each time the trip would pay for itself!

Are you talking about going back to stop 9/11 from happening? If not, why not. If time travel can't be used to help humanity in this way, just what do you see as it's purpose?

Is it stricltly for power? Power for governments, for the wealthy? This is what I see as the moral issue. How about you?

I would welcome an emotional response. If you have been telling the truth then perhaps you would be so kind as to offer me your assistance. Saving my son would certainly not cause any more problems in the time line than all your posting has. I guarantee if you met my son you would know you had done the right thing.

I know people will want to offer me the assurance I will see him again someday, but when you say this to people who are grieving it causes them pain, so please don't. I have had many friends offer what they deem to be kind words like these, (God needed him, he's probably happy where he is, time will heal, etc. I can offer a whole list of things 'not to say') and I understand they truly don't know their words cut like a knife. I understand because they aren't in the same place I am. I pray they never have to be. As a society we really need some practice in understanding grief because we or someone we care about will all be there at some time. The only words that will bring any comfort are "I can help you."

It's an issue that s/he won't have to deal with. The date of departure for Lyndzee will be on or about Hallowe'en - just before the election.

It is the belief as well as the policy of the ITI that time travel techonology should not and will not be used to change events of the past. I am sure you can understand why. What would going back and stopping major events like 9/11 accomplish? On one hand, thousands of lives would be saved, however what are the other unseen implications of this? One small change could potentially change much more than that. This is the reason our missions can go no further than this form of direct contact.

Quite true. Just being here is sufficient to cause change. All it takes is for one person to be momentarily distracted by his/her presence: A meeting is missed, a phone call is missed, "mom and dad" never meet because mom (or dad) is reading a post here instead of having that First Encounter of the Love Kind that otherwise resulted in marriage and some child's eventual birth. They never meet, fall in love and marry. Instead, they each marry someone else and the couples have children that never existed. It cascades through the entire population. New couples, new children, children that already exist are never born...Lyndzee him/herself may not be born...a viscious paradox where events appear to have no causal relationship with anything else that exists - self creation from nothing.

And this is about the sixth time that I've posted this scenario here. You'd think that Bureaucrat would have read the forum.

my theory is that the universe/s is like huge bubbles inside a empty black room (that is much bigger than the tiny bubbles that make up each of the universe)

or is it still based upon free-will ?

5. Has Nasa landed astronauts on Mars by 2024 or are they still planning it?

I recall reading about some timetravellers that atempted to travell to 2011,2012 and 2013
It was not possible for them to set the time machine to 2012 some sort of Blocking wall stopped them (somekind of obstacle interfering making it not possible to travel to 2012)
but they travel to 2013 and they find nothing just Black empty space and nothing
If some of this are true , can you share some light on what realy will happens in 2012 that make an obstacle not to travel to 2012 using timetravell technology?

no one would ever die. Other people because of changes would

-Has been added any new amendment to the U.S. Constitution between now and 2024? Has any of the current (2008) amendments been modified or repealed? Is the Constitution in your time the same one, word by word, than in 2008?

-What is the total population of the U.S. in 2024? What's the racial make-up of the country in %?

-How many states compose the U.S. in your time? Besides Puerto Rico which you mentioned, anyone else? By the way, What year did PR acquired statehood?

-Is the English the official language of the U.S. in 2024?

-Is the same-sex marriage legal at federal level in 2024? If not, how many states do have legal same-sex marriage? (In 2008, two states: Massachusetts and California)

-Did the government finally build a fence along the US/Mexican border?

-Is the gun debate/2nd amendment thing still a big issue in the US?

-Which ex-presidents have died between 2008 and 2024? Tell us the year of demise if you remember, please.

seem like a really big divergence to me.
But what she is saying is I all ready done it in
the last interaction zero divergence. But
remember there must have been an orginal
setup to the whole thing resulting in an
initial large divergence.

PamelaM217 this is only their third jump they
don't have all the facts of time travel yet.

Another reason why their divergence may be small
is her jump is small 16 year. John Titors
divergence was 2% in 1970's which is a much longer
jump.

But the real problem is saying there is no divergence
must be an error on her part because the 300+ page
document will be a large event effecting our time
line. But she will not disclose what here intent on
this would be. Anyhow it is a big divergence event even
though divergence don't exist. So she is wrong simply put.
