I am very smart mate, trust me on that one. The U.K isn't gun-free, there are shootings but nowhere near the U.S level.

I think Britain is experiencing crime rises due to erosion of self-defense laws by greedy, money grabbing, defence lawyer scum in U.K. The sooner I can defend myself with a weapon in my own home the safer I will be. At the moment in The U.K., if you defend yourself you must do so with no weapon even if you are attacked with a knife etc, if you wish to avoid being sued, or getting convicted. I admit that pisses me off, but I don't think more guns in the U.K is the way to go.

It should be obvious, and therefore axiomatic, that the right to self-defense (with any level of force that may be necessary) is a natural right... meaning that it already exists, and need not be "granted" by any government. This is precisely why the US Constitution (Bill of Rights) is such a powerful, and revolutionary document. It was the first to acknowledge that ALL men are not only created equal, but are invested with certain "inalienable rights" (AKA natural rights). By drawing this distinction, this document defined that government does NOT NOT NOT "grant" rights, but rather that any form of FAIR government must be PROHIBITED from taking away any of these inalienable rights.
To all those boneheads (not you, GS) who love to tell us Americans "you are losing your rights with the Patriot Act", most of them have no clue about which rights are inalienable and which are not. Furthermore, such boneheads who are from other countries often don't even realize that their countries are probably nowhere near as progressive as the US, for the simple fact that they still live under constitutions that state their rights are "granted" to them by their governments.

And what this means is that your government believes they are granting you the right to defend yourself, and since THEY are granting you that right, they believe they can also tell you how you can and cannot do it. To me, that is messed-up. (regarding an open discussion, though) i still think it would be nice if you gave a detailed description of what you mean when you talk about the NWO. you seem to think you have already done this, which makes me laugh. If you fail to provide any relevent information about such a group, their goal and methods, then its not so much that 'certain' people think they are 'soooo' smart, Its just that so far - your bluff has been 'soooo' easy to call.
Start proving your worth (not the drivel you have already given). If nothing changes, then neither will we. I think thats fair, rather then 'arrogant', Wouldn't you say?

You might look for a thread started by a poster named Informer. At least he had the guts to put REAL dates in his predictions (which are so far being proven false). I challenge you to do the same... if you are legit, for example, you should have been able to tell us that Al Zarqawi would be killed as of today in Iraq. But my bet is that the only things you will predict are "gloom and doom" predictions related to the USA. Prove me wrong.

In 2065 I live near Sandia Peak in New Mexico, my home is a self sustainable home. It stores hydrogen, also it runs through a hydrogen cell that provides electric power hot water all at the same time. Me and my wife grow our own food inside of our home. This is not new technology at all. The company that started all of this is in business now. The type of home I speak of is in wide use in 2065.
Our home also has wind and solar power all incorporated into our home. We recycle our own water and waste. Everything is reused in our home. Our home is totally self sustained. Oil is not in wide use in my time. I think over seas oil is still in wide use. Someone asked me if newspapers are still around. Yes, the news is transmitted right onto the newspaper itself from the net. Also Nanotechnology plays a big part in how things are built in my time. People that do not use a home like mine are using total solar power. Solar cells are 70% more effective then they are now. Nanotechnology plays a big part in that.
