That's very true. The response is, however, that Pamela used to have a tag line - "Got Light? Make Matter".

Got light, make matter indeed. "Light" is just a specific range of frequencies on the electromagnetic spectrum. It has both mass and energy. Even Titor pointed out to me that

E = mc^2

So, of course matter was in-falling into his ring. It was in the form of, at a minimum, the EM containment field. It's a field in classical physics but in quantum physics fields are particles.

This post addresses what I have seen before the last three. I enjoy the conversation and I will respond.

The ?pattern? of exchange in the war will not be a surprise. Many people will perish as a result of starvation and disease. I would also submit that you already know if you?re safe or not. The trick is to not turn off your fear when you?ll need it the most.

Australia is sort of interesting in what is unknown. After the war, they were not very cooperative or friendly (can?t blame them really). It is known they did repulse a Chinese invasion and most of their cities were hit. They have a trading relationship with the U.S. but I would characterize them as reclusive and ticked off.

When people use phrases like ?See what I mean?, ?You?re not hearing what I?m saying? or ?Something smells fishy?, they are indicating the primary sense they use to process information about a situation. I find it interesting that my credibility and the phrases that describe it hinge on economic terms and whether or not I have something to sell. I don?t. I also don?t know how to clarify my position any better so I would suggest that if what I say angers you, it might be best to just consider it fiction. Soon you?ll get bored and I will leave in a few months. Either way, it won?t be an issue.

The ?enemy? that was attacked by Russia in the U.S. was the forces of the government you live under right now.

Deception? Exactly what standard do you use to measure the truth around you? I have seen other threads with amazing and potentially real experiences on them. Why am I more threatening?

I have no memory of meeting an older me as a three year old. The events between worldlines are isolated and nothing I do here will affect my worldline. Yes, my parents are alive in 2036 but they have no experience with a time traveling ?me? in their 2001 either.

Actually I was not aware of Trott when I posted that message of mine. There were so many people who wrote in response to Titor. That link was a random choice. Mine was an overall estimation of Titor's performance. /ttiforum/images/graemlins/smile.gif Clearly Titor ignored Trott in that link. There might be a few reasons for this. 1) Titor lacked the knowledge of physics to counter Trott. [I think he said that he was a historian, not a physicist. He might have said this to avoid accusations of his unsatisfactory physics knowledge. Or it [that he was a historian] might be true.] Afterall, one needs not be a mechanic to drive a car. /ttiforum/images/graemlins/smile.gif 2) He did not want to explain the details of time travel in order not to cause intolerable divergence in our timeline. Or he was ordered not to do so.

What was the result of "lingustic research" about Titor carried out by what-was-his-name? You helped him too as far as I remember. Is Javier Cortez Titor? Is Cortez around? Questions, questions, ...

And Darby, according to your experience whose story of time travel has been the most convincing to you so far? Can you tell us your top three? I think Titor deserves to be the first as things got a little out of hand with Titor. /ttiforum/images/graemlins/smile.gif Google yields 227,000 results.

We get an international flavor here. Titor was the American, Steven Antles was the Canadian and Ardon Krep was the German.

Antles' story was interesting in the sense that he told a pretty good sci-fi/political thriller/MIB murder/disappearing scientist story. I think that I ran him off (no - I'm pretty sure that I ran him off). He was supposed to reappear on Denny Unger's "DarkPlanet" forum once Denny had it back up and running (2003?). The forum came back but Steven never appeared. Steven is the story that had the (obviously) faked video. It was so obvious that he ultimately admitted that it was faked...but presented to the Canadian Government as a "proof of concept" demonstration.

Ardon Krep was a reasonably good tale as well. It was a bit more difficult to follow because it was written entirely in German and we had to translate with Google - which isn't a very good language translation program. He too slipped away into the mist. He likely slipped away because he made a series of very specific predictions none of which occured. Still, he managed to tell an interesting story.

Linguistic Study

No, Javier wasn't Titor, at least not based on the linguistic study. I haven't looked at my statistics recently but as I recall it was in the high 90% range against. The closest matche, based on the linguistics study, was Buzzmaker (Ben Z), the person who produced the "John Titor Radio Program" promo for the John Titor Institute.

Nostradamus has predicted that 1/3 of America would be invaded and captured by China before they are finally stopped. I have had slumber dreams which have depicted America being nuked and the invading forces barreling through trailer courts, with ground forces & tanks. Even German military forces tries to thwart China's invasion attempts. While it wasn't made known as to why such happen, it was unexpected and without warning.
 
hello everyone. ive never heard of john titor's existence until a couple of days ago. i didn't know people could already chat by 2000 or so. i was on 6th grade by then.& i was living in the phils.lol. well, i was just searching for 2009 predicitions because of such global crisis going on right now. then i thought john titor was a psychic since my concern was on predictions and astrology. & his name was obviosuly popular in google & yahoo.

i must admit, it hit my curiosity factor big time. like, what if john titor's really a time traveler? but then, what if, just like all other bluffs, he's just another hoax? know what, it's sure fire easy to say that yea, o well, he's fake, he's a psycho whatever mad man geek phycist prophet writer genius historian, he's a hoax---if and only if, he didn't gave out such odd, critical statements for us not to be be concern-conscious. know what i mean...

but then... everyone here who's very familiar with his story, especially those who even had the chance to chat with him personally, would more likely tell me that this is just aother curious newbie.....and that it's just another old freaky hoax-y story.....reason why i ended up here in this thread, right? ^_^

how he gave emphasis on CERN & GE, which im sure a lot of us never even heard of it before? on the future economy and stuff like that.. just give me the creepx... and if he's a psycho, how would we explain his consistency and the sense of each and every statement and the stream of his typing and conversations? if he's a geek, wouldn't he be focusing on one field or so?

and if he's a psychic, i mean have you ever encountered a psychic who talked about a machine? esp. the one that needs a lot of physics and science stuff? i mean, if he's a psychic, wouldn't he focus on the philosophy & religion and general matter, regarding 'predictions' as in literally speaking,you know what im sayin? if he's a scientist or physist, or writer, how can we explain how he talked about the youtube thing right now, about people making their own music & videos? black holes? poem , the soldier's winter? the earthquakes in china & peru?

so we couldn't 'really' just jump into conclusions, saying psh! he's hoax. we couldn't even say he is a time traveler. im not saying he is, though.. im just saying it could be possible... whereas him, being a hoax is surely a lot more than possible....

so let's just hope time will come, we'll eventually find the answers regarding him, his 'existence', & time travel stuff & the authentic nature of such phenomenon.

I can understand that back in 2000, being in the 6th grade, you may not have heard of CERN or GE. But that wasn't the case here. GE is one of the largest companies in the world and CERN was in the headlines specifically because the US had killed the Super Collider program and CERN decided to buid their version of it. That's not to mention that in 2000 the WWW (we're really not on the Internet here) was quite new but had decended from ArpaNet. ArpaNet (Advanced Research Projects Agency Network) now DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) was the "in-house" private network that universities, research companies, the military and places like CERN used to communicate with each other about their projects. CERN was well known back then.

It was easy to explain matter-of-factly the "science" behind his gadget. It was all explained in terms of common Internet pseudo-science coupled with some nonsense science sounding techno-babble terminology. The science behind his gadget was silly at best and refuted by more than one real university professor physicist who out of kindness took some time out of their research and teaching day to write a few posts and emails.

In fact on 8-MAR-2001 Dave Trott (handle TROTT) who had been taking Titor on re the physics announced that he was a physics student working on his PhD (He did get his PhD and he is now teaching community college physics and astronomy in Denver). Oops! Titor's next post on 10-MAR-2001 was to announce that his departure schedule was moved up and he was leaving in about 30 days. He only made two more posts after that...leaving the last of TROTT's questions unanswered.

What little physics background Titor had may have come from Larry Haber's cousin (maybe brother - Larry has said both...and then denied both).

If you recall from the posts Titor made a quip about having friends at Stanford University's SLAC collider facility. It took a few years to find but I discovered that Dr. Carl Haber is a Senior Research Scientist at Berkeley Lawrence Laboratories across the bay from Stanford University. He's a physicist. He did a stint at SLAC. It's possible that Group Titor may have asked him for some input re. the physics - but I don't believe that he was in any way a member of Group Titor or even knew what a Titor was.
