Uhhh...maybe because it's your thread, your theory and your responsibility. Call me dense if you will but I can only conclude that you, having started the ball rolling with the topic at hand, are responsible for any statements that you've made.

And let's be clear on this point:

You were very self-rightous in your analysis of what the moderator's duties and rights are on this forum. It's too bad that you weren't so ethically straight when you decided to post the name of a very real person on a public forum, pointed out what city that he lives in and directed us to a photo of him...and then proceeded to seriously and grievously harm his reputation in public by calling him a drunk and online stalker with an overactive libido. I guarantee you that you had no right, morally, ethically or legally to engage in that sort of behavior - emphasis on "legally".

That too is your responsibility.

And as for legally, last time I checked... if I showed someones picture and said they were guilty of something, its only a legal issue for me, if they can't proove what I'm saying is false, he would have to suffer the other end, in a public forum no less.

And as for the spelling.... get over it. I'm a crap speller. Never said I was tip-top in that department. So over all I just find it to be a cheap shot... and that's funny because you like the others have basicly said to put up or shut up.

And if the cop doesn't investigate it, well, that's on the cops for being a dumb flatfoot. Not the person reporting it. And sure the credit of the reporter counts for something. But when the news reports the cops knew about crap, but didn't act, well that makes them look like morons in the public light. And I look at it this way, you obviously have dedicated some time to this hoax, you would love to be apart of the group that publicly unlocks everything. And maybe just maybe someone has already read most this chain and started to investigate jester.

But then again that's only if rainman keeps the thread un deleted.

Wrong again. The proof of a claim lies with the claimant. It is absolutely NO skin off my nose whether I know who Titor was, or not. However, given how much you've gotten your panties in a wad in this entire thread, YOU seem to have a NEED to convince us. If you didn't, you wouldn't keep coming back. It really IS that simple!

So now you are showing us your ignorance of law enforcement practices? Cops don't just go out and haul people in because some yoyo CLAIMS they did something wrong. Cops work on EVIDENCE and PROBABLE CAUSE. And what is even worse, if a person like you provides FALSE EVIDENCE to the cops, guess who is going to jail? (Hint: His name begins with Brick)

We don't delete wholesale threads around here. For one reason we like to keep threads like this for the next jester like you who comes along. It lets people know they had better have their story straight, and that it will NOT be an easy sale.

No, not at all. They are present or past elected public officials.

There's a big difference in civil law between what can be said in public about "public figures" such as actors, professional athletes, political candidates running for office or elected public officials and what can be said of a private person.

Sure, there are limits in the former case but they are very widely drawn. The common factor between people in those categories is that they make their living on publicity. In the later case of privite individuals there are well defined limits as to what is considered to be protected free speech. Private individuals have a reasonable expectation that private, even controversial, information about their lives won't be posted on a whim in public for several billion people to read. Even newspapers get sued successfully for crossing that line.

Now I might be wrong here, but as far as I know "James Moore" is neither an actor, professional athlete, elected public official nor some other class of person covered as a "public figure".

First, we aren't the cops. Second, as far as we know no one in Group Titor broke any laws. We are under no obligation to respond to a "complaint". The police, yes. The members of this forum, no.

And if I follow your logic, that you posted a name thus that person is a member of gGroup Titor until proven differently then we have another problem. You can't possibly be suggesting that if I name Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck as also being members of Group Titor that the community has to also accept them until proven differently are you? Frankly, if I did name them I could at least state that they live in Celebration, Florida - or at least next door in Disney World - rather than in Ohio.

I was just going on what you said earlier, you know the whole insult thing with this thread. You delete the thread, and I will, by your own older post a bit back, I won't have anywhere to garner any attention.

Unless of course you think this thread has something worthwhile to add to who titor was. If not just delete there, what do ya have too lose. Darby no less has already copied and backed up all the post. Titorite is probally sitin' back right now waiting for a break to spount an insult. Pamela is sitting there calling me a name. And riasta is still waiting to go into a corner and kick a cat.

So let it be written, so let it be done. Besides, it wasn't really going anywhere given your inability to provide even a tad of corroborating evidence. If you think you have something better to convince us, you can open a new thread when such evidence is available.
