Hello,

You may remember me. My name is SamuelT, at least that is the name I have been given for this mission. About seven months ago (from your perspective) I arrived in early-mid 2008 on a small mission to monitor events and aspects of your time. I spent the last few minutes searching through your archives and were surprised to find my other posts still there. I don't really know how this form of the internet works so that may be normal. Some of you may well remember my posts, I was the time travel claimant from 2082 (it's hard to tell who is fake and who is real on this page).

Anyway, when I returned to the future I was told (after about a month of waiting) that an anomaly was detected in my results and it had to be re-checked. Unfortunately the particular aerosol that I needed to monitor was only rarely under correct conditions and I had to return to seven months after my original visit, I could not simply return to where I departed from. I don't really understand it, but I just follow orders really (and I get paid extra for it). Anyway, this time it will not take very long and I'll be departing soon. However, before I came I remembered this web page and smuggled a small artefact from the future for your viewing. I hope you enjoy it. It's a copy of the newspaper I downloaded not an hour before I left. Sorry it's a little cut off at the bottom, I'm not sure whether that was me or this page I used to upload it.

Hello recall. That's not the real flag I don't think. There have been speculative mock-ups going round for weeks. I am not surprised, this is a big issue changing the flag; very controversial.

I don't recall seeing anything about a meteorite strike on there. I just read it again and still can't find a reference to it. Care to explain what you mean?

As for the "recreational time travel bill", I'm afraid I haven't the slightest clue; this is certainly the first I have heard of it. The army has been using time travel since the forties, and it has been public knowledge since the sixties. If it is what I gather from the text, then I doubt we will see this go anywhere. The complications would be astronomical.

How about taking some responsibility for your own life, and going out and finding her all on your own? I know...a risky endeavor. But one we all must face.

This is my first post on this forum and my language is Dutch so forgive me my spellingmistakes if there are any.
You claimed to be from the future, why don't you give us a couple of future events?
I will give you an example:

Month Year sort impact-worldscale

09 2009 disaster 8/10
11 2009 war 7/10
04 2010 political 9/10


I think with these kind of examples the worldlines wil not be altered but you can prove if you are real or not

Some comments regarding the other news:

1- So the Amero Money don´t work and all we got was the "Esperanta" money...Lol

Why only the front page only? Why didn't you posted the entire newspaper? What about other newspapers and other news sources? Uploading the front page of a newspaper only, doesn't means it is a future news report from the future. You need to upload a news event more close to 2009, most likely a event that will take place about week after you had posted it.

Mmm, fifty one stars on the flag.

I'm not sure your paper is very convincing as proof of your origin. Can you give anything else? Also odd that you have played a video game from 2007 that would be 75 years old for you.

Could you travel back a little, say 30 days, and post that Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett will die within hours of each other in June 2009? If 30 days doesn't work, then you pick the time as long as it is before June 23rd 2009.

Surely, since you were here before, you knew we would want some specifics, so you looked up some history from our coming week that you could bring us just before it happens. We can't confirm anything from your paper so it's useless as proof of your time travel.

So, I am not sure how you would like to proceed. Certainly, if you are a time traveler (and one who has been here before), you must know me and know me well. Hell, you being from the future and all you should know me so well that you should know what I am going to ask/propose to you right now.

We can proceed in any one of many ways. But let me suggest one to you and see if you would agree:

I have already collected a fair number of inconsistencies in your "newspaper" page from "UK Today". I can certainly go through them one by one, and you would no doubt explain to me why they are not inconsistencies, but rather can be explained by something about your time that I do not know. Convenient, that ploy.

But no, what I am going to suggest is that you simply tell me the number of inconsistencies that I have already collected now, before I actually tell you how many I have and go through them all. Since you should already know every single inconsistency that I have caught, this should not only not be a problem for you, but I wonder why you have not fixed them for this trip back in time?

Anyway, you let me know if this is acceptable, and if so let me know the number. Then I will proceed.

Your need to obsess about one thing in your life does not mean it needs to constantly be shared in every thread here, on a continuing basis.

Please talk about something else. Preferably related to time travel.
