Time Traversal

That's a good one, TimeLord, I'll have to remember it! :D

But I should also point out that Reactor was proven to be coming back under SEVERAL different usernames, even to the point where we had to contact his ISP and register an abuse complaint. So while your analogy is a great one, and I agree, I always remain cautious.

Oh ok. /ttiforum/images/graemlins/yum.gif I didn't know that. Wasn't he a decent fellow, though? No need to hide, unless there was some drama I missed.

Oh yes, you missed some drama alright. And it was all centered around his various username instances here. He was using the sock puppet approach to try and stir up trouble, setting up multiple usernames, all via anon proxies (i.e. varying IP addys).

He may have started out as a decent fellow, but he showed his true stripes (childish) when he could not handle scientific criticism of his ideas. And as Darby so often points out: The level of acridness that is doled out here with respect to ill-formed scientific ideas is tame by comparison to some other forums which are purposefully aimed at real scientific ideas. There is evidence on the alt.physics usenet that Reactor attempted to push his ideas there as if they were scientific, and he met with quite a bit of scientific pushback, and also quite a bit of chastisement. Some of it quite entertaining, if I may be so bold! /ttiforum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I am also suspicious that, because userdimmack has not returned to defend his ideas and try to expound on them scientifically, that this is a sign that it was indeed another incarnation of our friend reactor.

But only time will tell! /ttiforum/images/graemlins/yum.gif

About me
Bio: I write software to decrypt and search for computer media off binary counters that is from the past, future, or alternate time lines. I am being flamed by a couple of government thugs trying to keep me quite about this. They got my thread locked down
Birthday: December 31
Email: [email protected]
Hobbies: Time Traveler on the run from TTI.

His thread is also a hoot...with the same general results re his "binary counter" program from the forum that he gets everywhere else.

Wow, another good find, Darby. I think it is clear that Reactor is caught in his own Closed Time-like Curve (CTC)! What was it that Einstein said about continuing to do the same thing, and get the same results?

The sad part is that the guy is just too under-educated to realize that his words are truly just word salad. Given his age, I think there is little hope, and Time has passed him by. But I hold out hope for another former member of our forum who was/is still young enough to turn things around, and the last we heard from him it sounded like he was doing just that!

Are you still out there lurking, Carey? Stop in and let us know how things are going from Time to Time! :D

Well that's unfortunate. But it is common for people on the internet to take such an approach, assuming that real science can be "proven" with just a few poorly explained ideas. It's not necessarily a character flaw, just something that can be fixed with time and education. /ttiforum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Hey....I'll have you know that the Dialectic invariant phase tranducer, when attached to the discombobulative electrotransgenic quantum tunneling microsingularity in a hyperspace eigenstate, transverses the dynamically induced superpositional dipole in such a way as to fuse the 11 dimensional membranes via quantum electrodynamic disparity and leptonic symmetry breaking.......and the end result is a cup of tea !

Of course...my next theory will be all about how boiling a kettle would be much simpler.
