"Time Travel???" Try the alternative... TODAY!!!

Re:Re:he he he !

YOU'RE the one that's being disrespectful (not to mention, racist). Are you American? I'm English. If you are American, how would you like it if I started insulting the way that your country has 'butchered' the ENGLISH language? (If you're not, then forget that obviously)

PS..I don't mean any offence to any American persons with that comment, I was just highlighting the 'ignorance'. I really dont like racial abuse..

Re:Re:Re:thank you to make my point!

Oh I see now. As soon as I mention that Time Travel isn't possible, everyone turns against me! Well you can all find out for yourselves. Sorry-man.

Re:Re:Re:Re:thank you to make my point!

I'm not against you, honest.

You say that time travel is impossible. Where is your proof of that? It can't be proved or disproved as of yet. There are only theories Nicole.

PS..I'm really..really not against you, because I don't know you. I'm just against any categorical statement about an entirely theoretical subject. You don't know, I don't know, we can only theorise.

I hope you understand my sentiment. There's no need to be upset, we're all in the same boat afterall..

Re:Re:Re:Re:"Time Travel???" Try the alternative... TODAY!!!

Who are you to be calling Time Travel impossible.

In 1492 everyone thought it was IMPOSSIBLE for Columbus to sail to a new world, and return.

In the 1800's/early 1900's, everyone thought that space travel was IMPOSSIBLE.

I'll be laughing in your face when I get to go back in time with the "IMPOSSIBLE" Time Travel!!!!!!!!!!

Re:Re:Re:Re:Re:"Time Travel???" Try the alternative... TODAY!!!

Are you supposed to be replying to me or Nicole??

If you are replying to me, I think that you'd better read my messages again.

I don't recall categorically stating that time travel is impossible. I said..NOBODY KNOWS WHETHER IT IS POSSIBLE OR IMPOSSIBLE.

NOBODY KNOWS, OK.

I'm the open minded one thanks..

Re:Re:Re:Re:Re:"Time Travel???" Try the alternative... TODAY!!!

No offense Courtney, but using the logic that because certain things we USED to think of as impossible are now do-able, is not in itself a relevant argument.

We USED to, and still do, believe that man does not possess the strength to, without additional assistance, leap completely off the Earth. And the fact is, he will never be able to. It is not within the realm of possibility given his relative body strength vs mass. The Asteroid Ceres perhaps, but not the Earth.

I could use THAT argument to say we will never achieve time travel, but it would be as relevant as yours.

I'm one of those in the survey that belongs to the 20 +/- % who DO NOT believe time travel is possible, but it has nothing to do with what technological achievements we have or have not accomplished in the past.

It has to do soley with the fact that I will believe in it when someone shows me it IS possible.

As yet, no one has been able to do that.

Thank you for your time.
