Pamela's Top Ten Most Leading Titor Questions

Re: Pamela\'s Top Ten Most Leading Titor Questions

If his story was true then virtually everything that he did relative to his personal communication with you violated his security intent. Not getting involved with the opposite sex is just about the first lesson taught to undercover operatives. Only James Bond, in the books and the movies, can get away with doing that - and just barely.

You know Darby according to John he was picked to go on the mission only because he was related to the target. (his grandfather who worked on the IBM computer) He only had to go back and convince his grandfather of certain things to change history and come back. John only needed to know basic things on how the machine worked he did not need to be an expert in physics. Maybe John was an idiot. Maybe he was the only grandson left alive that could do it.

If you remember John said his people researched and found that people that were related were sometimes the only people that would believe you were really a time traveler. John was not this highly qualified operative. He was not the best of the best of the best. He was just this normal guy who was related to the target. They looked at everyone left alive related to the target and perhaps he was the only one. If there is only one person you just have to do what you can with the training. He only had to convince the target of certain things this was all that was needed. To the people who sent him the final result was all that mattered.

We know the answer to that question. The answer is, yes, he would have accepted.
An even better question is why did Art Bell turn him down (at least as so far as posting the manual pages and photos go).
Titor offered to send them to him in April of 2001 but Art never posted them (if he actually ever went forward and had them delivered to him).
He appeared to want a big name to post them for him but the offer was refused.

The thing with this is we don't even know for sure if this person was the same John we talked to.
I don't remember seeing anything that Art was to post the pictures anywhere. The guy simply said he would send them to him. I did call Art on the phone and sent him several emails questioning him about this person who faxed him but never got any info.

The funniest thing to me though is no one even remembered this guy when John was here posting on the Art Bell board. There had to be some die hard TT fans of Art Bells yet no one once said "hey...awhile ago there was this guy who faxed this letter to Art Bell back in 1998 who sounded like this guy." Not even Art remembered this guy. If you remember the John we spoke to send Art pictures. Why was there no connection made?? Why did no one remember the faxer in 1998? Not even Art himself????
Infact nothing was even mentioned about this faxer until after John left. It was like all of a sudden the faxer info appeared. Not only that but someone went to a lot of trouble to change the fax info we heard from the original fax that is in Art's archives. It had to be professionally done. Two versions exist. Or atleast they did. You heard both of them yourself Darby and it's still in Art's archives. That whole thing is just weird in itself.

How could a fax or two from John Titor, time traveler, be lost in the shuffle on Art Bell's show???

Pamela...it was Coast-2-Coast AM. A fax from a time traveler on a 6 day a week 3 hr per night show that featured time travelers, ghost stories, chem trails, Y2K, big foot, UFO's, aliens, alt-sci of every fashion and big name, big buck "experts" somehow got overlooked is a mystery?

How could Art not remember it? That's the easiest answer. It was show biz, not investigative reporting. You don't really think that Art believed any of the things that went out over the air on his show, do you? He started as a political talk show host out there in the Pahrump area. I remember the old show. My parents lived in Pahrump at the time - and Pahrump only had about 4,000 residents, two casinos and one brothel at the time. Art liked political talk but the niche was already being covered in his markets by Rush during the AM and Larry King on late night. So Art had to find his own niche - paranormal. One caller or fax pretty much sounded like any other caller or fax to Art. They all paid the bills. Show biz.

Re: Pamela\'s Top Ten Most Leading Titor Questions

Well, here is all there is with the ArtBell.com Archive unless you look for bbs.artbell.com pages.

http://web.archive.org/web/*sa_/http://artbell.com

I guess someone needs two browser windows up doing all these searches.

http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://bbs.artbell.com

Now unless there is some other URL address about Art Bell's Show, I guess that is about it in the Internet Archive, but there may be other Archives on the Internet also. Forget the names right now, but was thinking something like it being WayBack Machine or else that is a nickname for the Internet Archive pages. (?)

Try page 88 of the weblinks for Titor's "I am from 2036" postings still in the Archive. (or the year around April or May 2001 for those pages. Well all of that is listed by year.

http://web.archive.org/web/20010404233800/http://bbs.artbell.com/

April 4, 2001 is probably a good link with links that still work with some of them.

Well, maybe not, now it is page 97 of all the pages.

http://web.archive.org/web/20010413040811/bbs.artbell.com/showthread.php?threadid=1203&pagenumber=1

http://web.archive.org/web/*sr_961nr_10/http://bbs.artbell.com/*

Threadid 1203 pages on that page link above.
Of course that is not the later pictures JT sent to ArtBell, unless you still know the old URL of that page -- letters11.html or something like that, well it is listed over at the Wikipedia page for John Titor.

Re: Pamela\'s Top Ten Most Leading Titor Questions

And anyway to me, it is "The Grand Scheme of Good Design" that is equal to "Time Travel".

Just today, if anyone wanted to know, I guess according to someone posting, 37,000 copies of the U.S. Constitution was sent to President Bush. Someone else mentioned why not also Congress.

Well, there is a third branch of government here, "The Supreme Court".

It is not a debate about "Creation" or "Evolution" or "Intelligent Design" but to me "The Grand Scheme of Good Design".

Re: Pamela\'s Top Ten Most Leading Titor Questions

It may have been show biz Darby but if you received a couple of faxes and perhaps pictures related to your favorite subject, Time travel and then three years later a guy started posting on your web site talking about similiar things and sent you pictures again your telling me you would not remember that? Surely YOU would make a connection. Especially if you were into the show bussiness part. That would be your job to keep up on the paranormal things. And what of the die hard fans of art bell? None of them remembered either. It was broadcasted over the air to millions of people and not one made this connection. I am saying I think that is just weird.
If I had heard that broadcast long ago in 1998 and then met John in 2001 I would have remembered because I am interested in time travel. I wasn't familiar with art bell in 1998. Heck I remembered a stupid dream I had in 1998 and then when I met John it seemed familiar to me. Surely interested people in time travel should have remembered the fax.

The only thing is, Pamela, you naughty girl, (your wind-swept romantic dreams aside) you never actually met John did you?

And on that unapologetically teasing note, may I take this opportunity to wish you all a merry, healthily skeptical Christmas!! /ttiforum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

How can you have a merry christmas Skepti for doesn't it take an act of faith to believe in the Christ child? What is it that you even celebrate on Christmas? Do you even have a christmas?? /ttiforum/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Re: Pamela\'s Top Ten Most Leading Titor Questions

Pamela,

It may have been show biz Darby but if you received a couple of faxes and perhaps pictures related to your favorite subject, Time travel and then three years later a guy started posting on your web site talking about similiar things and sent you pictures again your telling me you would not remember that? Surely YOU would make a connection.

Pamela,

Yes, you and I would make the connection - but only within the actual context of what happened. We were involved in one item - John Titor - among a myriad of items that Art and Premiere Broadcasting were handling. So, no, I'm not the slightest bit surprised that Art couldn't recall one fax (two faxes combined) among many hundreds of faxes. He was running a multi-million dollar business on what was becoming the largest radio network in North America that had the number 1 morning and overnight radio audience in the world (Rush and Art). He wasn't there to involve himself in issues that were personally interesting. He was there to involve himself in items that had the largest across the board interest to his millions of listeners. His job was to sell advertising and to get on air time for his "experts" to plug their books. And the big items for him at the time (1998-2001) were Y2K, UFO's, ghosts and chem trails, not time travelers.

The John Titor story was virtually unknown outside the two dozen or so people that were posting on Paul Curran's thread here and about the same number on P2P among approximately 6000 members for both sites.

It wasn't important to the vast majority of the members on Anomalies when we moved it over. Ninety percent of the posts on Anomalies were to the "Anomalies" forum about Mars photos. No one really cared about Titor there. It was just a few of us, the same two dozen from P2P basically, among about 2000 members at that time.

The bottom line, by the end of 2001, is that approximetely 60 people had made more than two posts about Titor among 7,000 to 8,000 members between the three sites. Even today I'd venture a guess that about 100,000 posts have been made about Titor on Titor related threads - and you and I have made 12 to 15% of the total.

The story is big for you because you had personal investment of time and effort into it. For Art it was just another fax on one show. Art was so disinterested in the P2P forum that he met with Kraig Kitchin and they pulled the plug.

The story barely survived 2001. It only survived because you and I pumped the product. You may not have had that specific plan in mind but I did.

And even with our efforts the story was still largely unknown outside this site and Anomalies until the Fall of 2003.

That's when JTFan spammed the Internet with thousands of ads for The Book, using the John Titor Foundation email account, and Oliver Williams spammed the Internet with thousands of ads for his site JohnTitor.com that he'd opened in June 2003. That's when the story really caught new life and found a wider following.

Re: Pamela\'s Top Ten Most Leading Titor Questions

Darby and Pamela,

Yea, even without JT, I would have never found the odd visual 'defect' in the computer plus would have never landed a good paying job. Without this job, I would now be living on the streets because of everything which has been happening to me for the past year. So in a perception, I would have to thank you guys for keeping the 'JT' story alive over the years. /ttiforum/images/graemlins/loveit.gif

For your actions, you guys have really saved my life. I will forever be indebted to you.

Hope you guys have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

The Christ Child was very clearly a Time Traveller. The old walking on water bit easy as pie with a 29th Century anti-grav belt. :D

Re: Pamela\'s Top Ten Most Leading Titor Questions

ROFLMAO!

the way things are going, by the time we reach the 29th century, our technology would be so advanced or maybe not. Most likely we probably will not exist by then, in a theory that we destroy ourselves over control of technology.

Take a big look at our technology. In reality of computers, we began in the 1950's or so. Now today is 2007 going into 2008, look what we have! In a short span of time, we ended up with micro computers (pdas, etc)... so in another 200 to 400 years, if that technology keeps its pace, I can only imagine the advancement of computer technologies. It WONT be like Star Trek on tv.. it will be more advanced ... that is, if technology keeps its pace of development.

Re: Pamela\'s Top Ten Most Leading Titor Questions

This is just a post not to any particular person. What does dried-out nasal passages have to do with breathing better especially in winter? Sinuses and nasal passages are important in that you can breathe easier when those two parts of you are working better and not dried out. Can it be that some doctors are looking for more then what is really going on, or noticing things that lend them to make more money perhaps? Could be. It does make me wonder if they are just looking for more money as JT mentioned, not that it is all bad, but again, looking for the worse and coming up with quite sometimes goofy solutions. If you have dried-out sinuses and nasal passages in winter get a saline nasal mist, and start breathing better. Some people have been going through some harder breathing this winter and I am not the only one. With some nasal decongestant nose drops and keeping your nasal passages moist, better breathing just occurs. I think as you get older, your sinuses or nasal passages can just dry out more sometimes like in winter. Hardness of breathing can bring the question of whether or not someone is having a kind of silent heart attack, that does not seem real because there was never any chest pain. It seems that keeping nasal passages moist and the rest means easier breathing. And with that deeper breaths and not the thought that someone is having a heart attack, although harder breathing may be an indication of that when you are older, but also sinuses and nasal passages problems may make it appear worse than what it is. A chest x-ray for what is thought to be a flu? Antiboitics perhaps until the breathing is not going well. Some people in this world have asthma and allegeries and hay fever, and it seems as if some doctors brains have left the vicinity focusing on other negative things that really may not be as bad as first thought. I also feel that a chest cold and colds generally are not the same thing either as going off the deep end like some doctors may do. Well, part may be the person's fault, but still is not a doctor suppose to actually think of something besides just making money for some other purpose even if it may help some other people?

Greed? Perhaps it is, and some other people are more anti-social then first thought of including some nurses?

No wonder people are going over to Europe and down to Mexico to have work done. First it is cheaper and I heard by a third for medical treatment in Europe and half-price for teeth down in Mexico where they seem to use the same type of medicines for medical treatment.

When do self-governing professions need to be looked at more closely here in the USA? (lawyers, except for a few, doctors except maybe for a few?) (How about Police sometimes also?)

If the health care is this way in a fashion then count me out because I might as well own a book so I remember some remedies better and avoid high costs when they may not really be needed as much as thought.

Re: Pamela\'s Top Ten Most Leading Titor Questions

Don't mind me sometimes. I tend to go down a little at times. Getting too old I guess.

Anyway I went through 185 pages of links at Internet Archive and through posts of poster edited or something like that found:

Page 6, and Page 42 of old thread, which page 42 is not really needed. I was taking a break from it all at the time, working full time and going to programming courses. But here are the links.

http://web.archive.org/web/20010410033701/bbs.artbell.com/showthread.php?postid=35706
Page 42

http://web.archive.org/web/20010413023843/bbs.artbell.com/showthread.php?postid=18566

and there those two pages are.
/ttiforum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

That's it for JT, as other threads were shown that way via posters' pages of different threads back then.

Re: Pamela\'s Top Ten Most Leading Titor Questions

And of course processed food that takes out essential ammio acids and things by the processing of the food is making the food bad. These ingredients are natural heart disease essential minerals and acids and vitamins while the USA is running on empty because of processed foods. These are medical doctors reports easily found on the WWW if one is willing to look for it. Not a wonder-cure or a cure-all, just the fact that sodium in food and processed food is developing those diseases more than what should be occuring.
/ttiforum/images/graemlins/yum.gif

Lysine is not made in the human body, you get it by eating eggs, green beans, peas, and other things that contain these elements in the food along with flavonoids which is also in chocolate, but do not expect the chocolate to taste good then, but it would keep you from dying of heart disease. So what is better? Bitter chocolate, and better food or dying from stupid humans processing food on this Planet?

Re: Pamela\'s Top Ten Most Leading Titor Questions

And I am almost sure that low-fat food like what I tried years ago does not do any good. Yes, fat content you have to watch, but these low-calorie food stuff is laced with about twice the sodium of regular food. And that has to be watched or rinse out of the food like in a can, and all of that is more important than worrying about calories especially if anyone gets any exercise of sorts like walking a while (like 30 minutes a day or so) and anything else. I know I felt better getting rid of the so-called low-fat diet stuff because it just does not work, and it must be the sodium in the food. Some food nowadays has postassium added to it, and that is fine, but again, this food sold you really have to watch.

Can this be true in a sense of perhaps helping, I do not really know, but I do know that some people are questioning again and it was on TV on sodium levels (which is salt) and things like that.
A hard lesson to learn, but needed because of the food supply of processed food.

Oh, and if anyone wants to go gung-ho with assembly language programming -- well maybe not here:
A complete windows program in that MASM 32 freebie program from years ago, still can work today with all those other links I gave in that other thread:

http://www.gamedev.net/reference/list.asp?categoryid=20#201

Ah, that is what you had to do with early computers back in the '80's like an Apple IIC or Comodore, or Atari computer but this is for Windows, not Vistas, but Windows.
Win32 Assembly Programming there is the sub-topic:
