Next Up: The Titor Olympics Prediction

In all the excitement that is no doubt occurring over hdrkid's predictions (gas price & Hillary) being proven wrong over this past week, I didn't want us to lose sight of the fact that we are coming upon another big test of Titor's predictions.

I, RMT, do hereby predict that the Beijing Olympics will commence on time, and they will be completed. Olympic medals for 2008 will be awarded.

Note that this prediction of mine should not be misconstrued to say something that it is not saying. In particular, I am not saying there will be no attempts to disrupt these games. Only that they will open and close. They will be part of history. That would be another nail in the coffin of John Titor's predictions. But of course, none of those predictions could be falsified in the first place...so they are trash to begin with! :D

Although I am sure someone (Pamela?) may jump in now and re-explain to me Titor's nebulous measure of divergence...and how we could just be on a different worldline from Titor. To which I would respond:

Just saying.

If you want others to follow your lead then you should act as the example of integrity instead asking for others act in a way you yourself do not.

Where does it say anything about goading? In fact, I was being honest. I have seen Pamela jump in before and try to distract from the fact that Titor's story is unfalsifiable. THAT is being dishonest. The fact is Titor's story is purposefully set up to be unfalsifiable, and that is its achilles heel.

Whatever gave you that idea? I am not a leader. I am an engineer. If you ever work with engineers you will find that not many of them make good leaders. People come to me to help solve problems and model reality with mathematics. They most definitely do NOT come to me asking me to lead anything! Who was the great american who said: "A man's got to know his limitations."

They got more hot women with big cans on this timeline than the stinking one these other guys are wallowing in! :D

But I checked...nope, hdrkid's predictions are wrong even on THIS timeline!
