In claims Rainman the mop moved his thread back to fan and fiction because he said hdrkid was full of bull [censored]. The kid has not come back since. I don,t think reactor was a moderator but you can check with mop if you have any more questions about this thread. He would be the one to know.

I don,t know that is the kids speciality. But my advice is to build it on top of the ground out of concrete and water proof if and install a steal door then then cover it over with earth and make it at least a foot deep. You can run a tunnel from the shelter to the end of the mound if you really want to bury it deep. The reason it is on top of the ground is because you need to keep the water off the walls of the shelter. Some french drains would help with that. Also, you can take dirt and ram it into tires and use old tires just as well as you could concrete and it would work just as good. The shelter would need some very good ventilation because underground creates mildo, mould, and other bacteria problems so it would have to be well ventilated. Some very good high guality expensive filters could be bought to help keep the air clean in case of natural or man made events. This was a personal opinion on a shelter you should seek other opinions too.
I have a shelter like the one I explained above. It is where I keep my top secret projects and valiables plus my survival supplies and I have a work shop in it. Everyone should have a shelter. I am not sure how legal my shelter is because of how and were it is built it looks like the part of the natural surroundings. The door is hidden. I make it a point to keep my outside presence down to a bare minimum. No one but me knows it is there. I have a second shelter I park my truck in but that one is below ground so I can cover the door back up with dirt and hide the fact a vechicle is there. No one will be coming to rob me when society goes down the drain.

One of the nicest looking building sites I've seen. Very peaceful and appealing. Kind of a place you'd hate to leave.Unless it's to go to Murphy's bar. :D
A good Guinness is well worth the wait, I spent some time working in southwest of Dublin a few years back and there was certainly some fine pints served. Last week I and my neighbors were working off generators. We went off the grid and did a dry run. Nothing but problems. Water filtration, air filtration, etc. I was carrying buckets of water as one system after another failed.
There is still much work to be done. I believe that having a test of my shelter was a good idea. I believe that there is still some time, but the window of opportunity is closing. Most of my neighbors started building back in 2005. There were large earth moving machines.
I can tell you that things are going to take a sharp turn for the worse. Those of you that stocked up on food and fuel will be happy that you did. Expect to see people wondering how things could change so fast.

After he got out they said that no team would takew him and he would be lucky to get a job as gym coach at an inner city high school. OK now they are pray he breaks a leg or something because the come back is in the bag. It is no doubt that no matter what happens short of eagles winning the super bowl they will claim I was wrong. But don't worry, soon the debunkers will claim that MV coming back was obvious and that I did not predict anything. This explains why debunkers move my thread to fiction.
