Sorry, I meant to say 'imply' not claim. He never claimed to stop y2k, but he did imply it.
 
Ukraine had a civil war around 2014 and government coupe which is still going on.....

The WW3 nuclear exchange in John's tineline occured in March, 2015. Kay & I had legitimate security concerns when Putin vanished at that same time.

If you could ever track down Heather Cole and ask her if she was aware of John Titor before diverting those launch codes in 2015, it might give us insight into the nature of cause & effect.

My personal theory is that John is still in transit and will arrive on this worldline in 2036 to a very different world than the 1 he left behind.

He has had many opportunities to exploit the Titor copyright. Producers from Disney tried to take control of the Titor name but were blocked.
Someone is protecting that copyright. Why protect it, if it were a hoax, wouldn't you just cash in?

That is an example of peripheral logic in favor of it being true.
I think the extent of time of being on a forum full of doubters would prove too much for anyone to stay consistent the way he did. I have watched interrogation documentaries and compared to this forum, an interrogation would be child's play. I've seen innocent people under a fraction of the pressure fold to unable to keep details straight.
John underwent this forum's scrutiny for almost two years, I think, and he was pretty consistent, despite people claiming major inconsistencies.

Anyway, I could go on and on.

*Personal Context* I have heard a lot of traveler stories, because I find it very interesting. This is the only time traveler story I believe.

Look, I may seem to be a bit of a pessimist, especially when it comes to people's intentions. Unfortunately, skepticism has never failed me. Only trusting others has, time and time again. So, for the sake of logic, I ask why? Shouldn't people get their comeuppance? They did it to themselves. Wherever, and whenever you go, there you are. They refuse logic. They won't change. Even at the precipice. Even their billionaires are stupid. Will Mars be a better alternative to preserving the planet you live on now? Really? They are more concerned with self-preservation than their own children's future. That is the tell-tale sign of a dying species, and you know it.

What if it's something different? What if we use a different angle and assume an alternate timeline is created when the grandfather/grandmother is killed? Wouldn't that mean that when you go back to the future (haha funny pun), you would end up in a scenario where it technically always creates the same alternate timeline in infinite amounts?
