Less than a week until Titor was proved right.

exactly, that is the sort of drivel he comes out with.

Also bar in mind the CJD situation has been doing the rounds for a while. Especially in the UK, as its been subject to it most in Europe. While is may not hae filtered its way to the States as much, its always been an issue/worry.

'War in the middle east', when isnt there?

Kind regards,
Olly

Is it drivel because that's not what a real time traveler would have said? If you were the author, what would you have written that would have been closer to perfection?

If i were a time traveller (keeping in mind rules of travel) I wouldn't admit it on a public forum while i was in that timeline. Neither would i create an online TT phenomena, that lead to both website and Radio interviews about me that could reach potential audiences of 10 million +. I would neither create a stir that would led to the production of a book about my story AND the Events that i caimed to know about - which i told others - it was ok to talk about, because one forum was not 'mass' numbers.

Basically if Titor was for real. He was VERY naive. Especially for a 36 year old or how ever old he was again.

This is the sort of example of how an initial intention can spiral in a way you originally didn't intend. IF his claims are true, the small gravel stone he thought he was throwing into the Pond was actually more akin to a breeze-block.

He should have had the fore-sight for this. He didn't, this is one of the things that makes me think he was fake, and in it or something else.

does that answer your question?

Kind regards,
Olly.

How about January 6, when Conyers & other congressman/senators come forward with their fraud evidence gathered and contest the electoral college votes?

That debate lasted how long today and the vote was what?

Yeah, here we are, sitting on a time bomb. I see the seeds of civil war all around me (through the torrential SoCal downpour this morning). It seems clear we are just falling apart into a state of anarchy...

meanwhile, whose military is stepping up to the challenge of the recent tsunami (while also fighting terrorists in two countries)?

I've been patient for Titor's civil war for quite awhile now. I can be even more patient. But I just don't see it. While many DEMs might be upset that they couldn't win the white house yet again, I don't see our union coming apart at the seams. In fact, I seem to recall that democracy works best when there is an equal balance of views, rather than one party having an overwhelming majority. One could claim that we are actually stronger with a nation divided approximately 50/50 than we would be if one party had all the marbles of constituents.

Yes, both houses of Congress are Republican controlled, along with the white house. Yet I will go out on a limb and be Titor-esque:

I predict that, if not in the 2006 elections, then by the 2008 elections, at least one house of Congress will flip back to the DEMs....or (heaven forbid!) a DEM wins the white house.

Our history is like that...

I agree...what is sooo upsetting to cause a war? nothing out of the normal. I am actually enjoying the current state of things. Buisness is up, and the greed that runs my life is treating me well. why worry.

This is true.

I think its insulting to the referred nation to assume if theres a 50/50 split of opinion, They'll automatically be a civil war.

Especially in the western world.

kind regards,
Olly

At the risk of going a bit further off-topic (time travel, worldlines, blah-blah-blah...there, that helps!) here is an interesting article written by a young Kuwaiti about what he sees in the "liberal" culture of teachers in the USA. Counter that with what he (and most Kuwaitis) think of the USA for liberating and protecting their country. As I have said before, I have a good friend who is Kuwaiti who I have worked with who also extolls his respect for the USA. So, the point here is...just because so many of the vocal, extreme liberal/social people in the world (Europe?) keep telling us how much "the world" hates America, that is only a slice of the truth.

PS - Also interesting that an Arab Muslim who was protected by America is now president of a Republican grassroots organization! Now who would ever predict THAT based on the one-sided publicity which tells us all Arabs hate Republicans in general, and George Bush specifically?

That debate lasted how long today and the vote was what?

It was 2 hours, the issue was to open a dialog(investigation, can't remember the wording) on the vote irregularities in Ohio. The host of the show was at a loud protest outside and would interrupt the audio when a repulican was about to speak. He'd call him a dirty slimeball and say that he was going to say some mean nasty things and he switch back to the audio feed and sure enough they did. The democrats listed some shocking irregularities, they called for the vote and the neh's obviously won. Someone called for yea/nea's and the audio feed was over, back to the protest.

edit: and more than one republican got up and called them conspiracy theorists. it might not have been the full debate, the host did say they had gone through the alphabet up to ohio already..

I'd like to believe Titor time travelled, but if you time travel, don't your atoms fuse with anything you touch (like the Philedelphia Experiment)? And also, if everything you touched time travelled (like the vehicle, you, the stuff inside the vehicle, ect.) wouldn't the whole Earth time travel because the vehicle touches the ground and the ground holds everything? /ttiforum/images/graemlins/confused.gif and if you could time travel, can you change the past or is the past inevitable? /ttiforum/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

And I DO believe John Titor, just not about the time travel thing, he probably can predict the future or something.

I heard this guy on radio last night, and I can't believe that people actually believe this guy.I listen to Coast to Coast in the Los Angeles area usually when I awaken myself from sleep late at night so hopefully I can go back to sleep.I'm very amused on how people believe in far fetched things such as this Time Travel BS. It makes a good Sci-Fi movie or book I'll tell you that.Well to each his or her's own all I can say,but this John Titor guy is full of it....

Hey Darby,

I guess this torrential downpour of rain we are seeing here in CA must be an omen of the civil war to come, eh?
I'll be watching for Noah to float his ark down the Santa Ana River between Huntington Beach and Costa Mesa... which is walking distance to my house! Maybe I can get his autograph?!?

newbie,

might not have been the full debate, the host did say they had gone through the alphabet up to ohio already.

What was interesting about the entire issue was the fact in the key Ohio counties that were being accused of this corruption the chairmen of the elections boards were not only Democrats, they were also the chair of that County's Democratic Party. Needless to say, they were not amused with the nutcase Democrat outsiders and radicals who were in effect accusing their own party chairs of criminal misconduct.

yeyeman9,

He already stated why he didn't say anything about big events such as the earthquake/tsnuami. People that were suppose to die wouldnt and blah blah blah.

Yes, on the one hand. On the other he rants about 3 billion people being killed by the Russian nukes, the gross changes to the U.S. Constitution (by his government) and the U.S. Civil War.

Me thinks that he only talked about things that he thought at the time were far enough into the future that he would no longer be a topic of conversation to avoid having make a prediction that could be verified within a reasonable period of time.

Rainman,

First of all, I am a Republican. Second, who says this civil war has to be be between DEMS and REPS? What if we found out that the 5 swing states were fixed? It would be the people vs. the government. I am not saying I believe that this Titor guy is really a time traveler, but this is a possibility.
