I am here for now on assignment

Re: THE AMERO MONEY

RMT,

Ultra-liberals endorsing Hillary? Don't look at me... Pal... I just tried to do my best to figure out what Titor was trying to say or trying warn us about...

I'm on record... I find the whole "Bush-Clinton-Bush-?" possible Clinton stuff to be "bad" and proabably an Illuminati plot...

Do we really want "President Super Flirt" running around the world creating "international incident" after "international incident"... I can see him first visiting France, Norway, Brazil, Dubai, Monaco and maybe Japan if he is into "asian babes" but I don't think so... /ttiforum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

You don't need a "SUPERCOMPUTER" to predict that the probability of this happening is 100% PERCENT.

After the Rice, Pelosi and Clinton analysis... I was really hoping Bush would be IM-PEACED if you know what I mean...

I still think you "Right Wing Nutball-NeoCon-Republican-Golf Addicts and one surfer from Huttingon beach" are still up to something...

Vincente Fox who???

IMO... GEORGE WALKER BUSH... the best President the Country of Mexico ever had /ttiforum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I saw Fox on [the F word Networks'] O'Reilly Factor the other night pumping his new book. How refreshing it was to see two complete idiots bantering on the TV for a change. Seriously, I feel that Bush and Fox both should STFU... on immigration issues affecting The United States. Fox shouldn't have an opinion about what we should be/shouldn't be doing behind our international borders. Why should he be be in a position to dictate his opinion, we'd be foolish to close our southern borders... when he (along with his predecessors,) have been unwilling to do something for their own Countrys people and or its ecconomic growth and development. Instead of fixing the problems in his own country... he's added to our problems by encouraging illegal immigration.

To the other extreme:

How laughable it is, the Bush Administration would side with a opinion favoring the Country of Mexico in the World Court (A body that isn't even recognized by the Bush Administration anyways... see Iraq war world court online,) arising out of a texas death penalty case, where a Mexican National (an illegal immigrant) convicted of killing two teen aged girls now claims his execution should be vacated because his right to a fair trial was jeopardized from the outset because he wasn't informed that he could notify the Mexican Embassy and obtain free legal counsel via the Mexican Consulates office after being arrested and charged with a crime in our Country.

How ironic the U.S Supreme Court is getting involved now - because the Bush Administration is literally strong arming the State of Texas into vacating this mans death sentence and forcing Texas to re-try him (it would take the death penalty off the table... See Double Jeopardy.) Bush is a major hypocrite -- he neither respects the World Court, or saw anything wrong with his executing 149 immate scumbags while he was the Govenor of Texas... whats the difference now??

JustLurking,

see Iraq war world court anywhere online) arising out of a texas death penalty case, where a Mexican National (an illegal immigrant) convicted of killing two teen aged girls now claims his execution should be vacated because his right to a fair trial was jeopardized from the outset because he wasn't informed he could notify the Mexican Embassy and obtain legal counsel via the Mexican Consulates office after being arrested and charged with capital murder in this Country. How ironic the Bush Administration would be strong arming the State of Texas into vacating this mans death sentence

Unfortunately. the President was correct. The USA and Mexico are covered under the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations (1963) - a treaty. All foreign nationals of a Vienna Convention country detained in another Vienna Convention country's jails are required to be notified in writing by the agency that has custody that they are entitled to contact their country's embassy or foreign counsul and receive them as a visitor with privacy rights similar to attorney-client privilege (the visitation cannot be monitored on audio-video as can normal visitations in jails/prisons). The agency holding the detainee is to treat the foreign consular officers with utmost courtesy as if that person was the president of that country (they are that person's direct representative in this country).

Depending on what country they are from notification of the embassy or foreign counsul is at the will of the detainee or mandatory, even against the wishes of the detainee, upon the agency that has physical custody. All of this is required to be in writing and in a language that the detainee understands. If they can't read an interpreter must be called in to assist with the notification.

I've run up against this situation many times and have even had to contact the State Department's 24-hr DC hotline to talk to the Officer-of-the-Day for assistance and advice. I "wrote the manual" on the subject and taught the subject at the academy.

It's a international treaty. If it's ignored US citizens abroad can and do suffer the consequences if they find themselves in an "offended" country's jail. Every law enforcement agency in the country; federal, state, county and city; were to have instituted an on-going training program and had in place protocols to assure that the Convention was being followed by June of 2000. The process of notification should be SOP by now. If they Fox Uniformed the situation they probably chose the wrong treaty to violate and definitely chose the wrong death penalty case to FUBAR.

Once in a while President Bush really does something right - even if he still pisses off the Pope - because it is right.

Mexico is so aggressive in these cases because Texas has a death penalty but the death penalty is unconstitutional under Mexican law. Mexico does not have a deportation treaty with us that allows them to deport a Mexican citizen to the US for prosecution if the death penalty is still on the table. Mexico, under their constitution, can only deport a potential capital offender if the death penalty has been waived by the prosecution and approved by the court that will be hearing the case.

In this case I'm sure that they had to dig deep to discover that the notification was not made because their citizen was facing the death penalty and deportation to the US from Mexico was not an issue because we had physical custody.

Re: Vincente Fox... who???

As much as I hate G W Bush... Thanks for the clarification about the Vienna Treaty Darby. Is a doctrine I certainly wasn't familiar with. I still find it perplexing he'll support this treaty, but he won't accept anyone of our people being indicted and tried for "war crimes " committed in foriegn lands by the same Court. In Fact, from all accounts I've read up to now, hes modified a portion of the Geneva convention which affectively pardons everything He Cheney and Rumsfeld did by going into Iraq. None of them can ever be charged with a crime, or brought to justice for some of the attrocities they've committed in the name of "the war on terror".

Re: Vincente Fox... who???

End of Feb?

Perhaps I did know the dates and kept them from you.

Perhaps those things which are important to you in your now have no bearing on the flow of the stream?

Perhaps, as one or two commented on earlier, I did give you several things to chew about in that closed-mind of yours, but not a direct answer to a direct question that you expected.

again I say that if I say something would have come to pass and it does not that you would state that I am a delusional fraud...

If I state the same and it does come to pass, you will state that I am a very well-informed and insightful delusional fraud...

Your relience upon your minimal understanding of the universe and the time stream is self-decieving snarf. Your insistence that the sciences of the future must conform to your illusions in the now are the same. Time flows. It does not march, it does not tick forward. Like any fluid, you can swim about in it,provided you have the proper ballast.

For some, I have given them the means to fortune and future within what I've written before. to you other pasters, scream nay. i have traveled a bit of your now, more than most of you shall ever do. Rather than embrace that which is not contained in your philosophy, Horace, you attempt to extinguish it.

I was once told a thing, a number of my liner years back, that I could not accept, however I now see the wisdom in that statement...

Quickly I learned to fit in, in voice, in slang (I was even admonished for it here), mannerisms, and appearance, and was constantly amazed as to how each and every one of you would rather sit and pick apart all of those things that are on your mind rather than get up and move outside of your comfort zones and do something about it...

To share the statement:
"They got what they deserved."

Looking for the answers in today's pop-science is akin to asking a neanderthal about the shapes of other galaxies.

Have at it. Say what thou wilt. think what you shall. Just be happy in your now, it will all be over soon.

I will warn you, though, that I am not making any claims as the other imposters have set forth.

Freudian slip.

Post one, page one- large as life for the world to see.

Other impostors indeed.

Pamela, you can do snarfing better! ZI;ve, is merely a typographical error...a mistake for I've.
I've alreasdy mentioned that I spend my evenings getting fugazi snarfed and flapping here.

I figured you'd ask me about my usage of FRO or OT, but alas, I forgot that you like to dance about things. I also figured that the context of what vernacular (for me) I was using was pretty much self-evident in the sentences.

How about the obtrusive insertion of the letter "S", or the tendency to include pronouns into the following word?

Or don't you dance?

He's from the 1980s but uses this babyish gibberish as slang? He's worse than a BSG or Farscape fan.
