Boy, that was pretty stupid of the Russians, why didn't they just send the second one straight out into space? It sounds like that would have been much easier. How did they "thrust" the first one out there?, it was the size of a basketball so it obviously had no thrusters or fuel on board.

Oops, I forgot to elaborate on this, the first sputnik launch orbitted for 92 days before its orbit failed. Sorry, this wasn't a coverup either since it's orbit and decay was observed by millions. Unfortunately your story is completely wrong and you cannot deny that whatsoever. I am beginning to think more and more that you are Chronohistorian since two different people cannot possibly be this bad with grammar as well as lying. Just do some simple internet searches before typing this stuff, it really goes a long way to credibility.
