Hi im interested to know about the future

Oh my.....Oh dear!!! If I am not mistaken Sally1136 wanted to know about the future, 2080's or something and Australia...whatever occurred afterwards is a mystery.

Well Sally, I am not a timetraveler as people from around here call it, but I might help you with your questions. I'll begin with the topic of Australia. It will still be the enchanting place that it is today. About the buildings they will not change much aesthetically speaking. By the end of the 21st century 50% of the cars will be running on batteries, it will not be until the 23rd century that all cars become electric.

Fashion is another thing altogether, although it will not be what we call futuristic, but rather a return to the vintage era with a little glitter, plastic and zippers. Very nice for the gals, not so much for the guys. Food will be the same, with increasingly healthier menus on fast food chains and restaurants.

@Bomberman
I'm not skeptical of time travel, just those who claim to use it. I mean, of all the years to return to, 2012 certainly seems a little odd. Your explanation does give a reasonable reason behind why you have decided to come to our time I suppose....
I do, however, have a bit of a problem with the name "Super-duper-mega ray". I don't know what kind of scientists are in the future, but they seem to have all the creativity of a 3 year old to come up with a name like that....
Another question, if you would. If the androids are such a threat, how have they not managed to duplicate time travel, come back to 2011, right before you were transported here, hunt you down and kill you? Moreover, why have they not just used the time machine to send an army to an unsuspecting past which would be far easier to deal with?

@Darby
So would it be best, then, for me to call the theory I follow the Many Worlds Interpretation, or should I come up with my own name for such a theory, or does it already have its own name, I'm just using an incorrect one?

Cave Ab Veritas.

If you want to know what the future will really be like, watch the movie Idiocracy. It's the most accurate portrayal of the future I have ever seen.:)

Folks,

This thread is slowly diverging to all points in the known universe. We need to be mindful that we have various forums here, and also mindful to not try to hijack other people's threads. I will only point out one poster in this thread, but that does not mean others are not guilty.

Bomberman, you are clearly making time travel claims, and they bear a striking resemblance to those silly claims that you made (which were at least in the TT Claims forum). The OP of this thread was asking about things from the future, not asking people to trot out their tired TT claims.

Just a request, thanks..

Chronovisor is a device that allows to look into the past and into the future, I mean a kind of TV that can pick up signals from the ether, filter and capture visual and sound waves of an era past or future. A real TV time.
Some say it was created by an Italian priest, a father Ermetti collaboration with Enrico Fermi, but then there are also many readings Andrew Basiago, a former CIA agent who claims to have seen Chronovisor, rooms dedications to the quantum leap, devices to the wormhole, that the CIA and NSA, DARPA, have carried out with the so-called PEGASUS project...

To Darby+
This definition of 'Psychometric' refers to the metaphysical ability to touch an object and receive impressions of the past from that object.
The Psychometric Video Player exists today in 2012 but it isn't public knowledge. It is a device that amplifies light and sound trapped on an object and projects it so that we may witness past events. With the help of CERN's new findings, this device eventually is developed into a time machine. I have no science and evidence to back up this claim. So you may consider what I am saying to be pure fantasy.

Tony, is that what you're calling it "These Days"?

It would seem to be more than that. Given the number of claims you have made that have zero scientific backing, and yet you seem to make matter-of-factly, it may be indicative more of the type of world you may find yourself living in (i.e. fantasy). I guess the fact that light bounces off an object (as opposed to being trapped), which is how you are able to see it, does not confound the wonders of such a fantasy land, eh?

Light reflects off the object and that is why we can see it. But part of the memory of the event is trapped on the object and another part is reflected into our eyes. Memory is lighter than light. All metaphysics is fantasy for now. And once again, I'm no scientist. I'm just a guy on this forum making outlandish claims.

Psychometric

John,

Psychometric:

psycho - refers to psychology

metric - to measure, from the word meter

Psychometrics is a part of the overall science of psychology and is the specific term used in the science to indicate psychological testing.

I know, i get that question a lot, why 2012 ? But of course we, the resistance group, have a
reason for that. We have heard a rumour of a legendary fighting race that lives in this age,
called the "saiyans". Unfortunately, they were wiped out in the fight with the androids,
we are here not only to get information on the weaknesses of the androids, but also (if we
get the chance), to bring a "saiyan" to our future, and defeat the androids with a fight.

About the "super duper" name, i tottaly disagree with you, i think it is an utmost outstanding
name for an outstanding scientist to come up with !

And to answer your last question, they just don't know. They just don't know about the time
machine, because there is only ONE, there aren't many and we are safely hiding the information
on the build of it.

Furthermore, i forgot to introduce myself, i go by the name of "trunks", nice to meet you.

In paranormal studies psychometric is a way to get the impressions of the past or the future from objects. If you are getting impressions from space, time, or an area and not any particular object you would be getting information from the Telemetric Impressions left there by the past or imprinted in the future.

Ah, if you subscribe to my fictional world where there is only one time machine at this time, then you must be from my generation.
