The only waco type event I see, seems to be the one here.
So, the physics of time travel as posted above:
Have you really read it or understand it?
Titor also mentioned String Theory or SuperStringTheory or supersymmetrical endeavors.
In the book, Hyperspace, now by Dr. Kaku, he explains all this stuff, and guess what, it depends on having a math for it. Superstring theory is an accident, that would relate Einstein's Theory, Maxwell's Equations (which were later reduced or simplified), Quantum Mechanics (which is only like looking for data, because it died back in the '70's or early '80's) and Gravity(sorry data only coming in now, and that is only being obtained for the first time) which relates all of these fields now trying to convey a math to begin with. That math preliminarily used is Super-Riemann Geometry, which people have this vague idea that only brilliant people (and I mean brilliant people like Edward Witten) will attempt to unify all these so-called fields.
Except that SuperStringTheory is losing one requirement, the understanding of matching it with field equations to make it more than just a theory, in which case, it can not be proved by experiment, and only by math(if they had a math to do it with), because it would take something (if I am correct) like 10 to the 19th billion electron volts times more energy to get down to the Planck's length (where these so-called hyperspace dimensions exist). The fact that it only works in 10 or 26 dimensions is also a puzzle, because now you do not have dimensions to the Nth level which is being used now by the math.
Fine, enter in a Indian mystic mathematics genius, who only lived until he was 33 using modular functions which goes to modular forms. Except, this genius who evolved the past 100 years of mathematics thought by of by Europeans by himself, by only reading one book on number theory, ended up with whole hundreds of entire pages of modular functions from his karma (the supposed God-like thinking like God, or like Einstein -- to know the mind of God) except he does not really explain how he arrived at this math, nor provides any proof.
According to the book (Hyperspace) people who look at his work, place him up there at 100%, brillant other mathematicans at 80%, and the ones who originally talked to him before WWI and later the other disruption in life -- WWII, and they themselves place their place in all of this at 25%.
That means no one on this Planet understands his work, and the about 4000 math theorums nor can prove them and the use of modular functions and the resulting modular forms to discuss anything with anyone about proving that SuperStringTheory is a viable option to use to unify all of these fields above.
They have to be unified to a degree to understand at least some of it (and some and a very little part of it is understood), but the proofs of all this math first have to be done.
Accordingly to Dr. Kaku, SuperStringTheory is a 22nd century accident (and by accident) now known to be at least perhaps a viable theory, but without the math, or even if they could and they can not, the experimental proof, then you might as well say that no one could really say that at any time soon, anyone will be able to have even a remotely grasp of an idea about whether time travel would be even possible, and still more work would have to be done.
Time is intrinsically linked to Space so talking about Time or Space is irrelevant anymore -- it is SpaceTime.
Talking about Matter or Energy is irrelevant anymore since Einstein, now it is Matter-Energy, as the two can not be split anymore when dealing with it.
And talking about Light and Gravity or combining them (I think I am correct without looking it up in the book) is irrelevant, since no one knows how to combine those fields and only data is coming in on gravity -- now!
But still, even though Ramanujan came up with these modular functions from the Grace of God, they all use 24 dimensions. Still, not a big problem, but strings have to be self-consistent for any of it to work.
Around page 173 or that chapter in the book.
Now about talking about all of this stuff is fine, but doing the work is going to be a lot harder, and take all night sessions of math that even defy description, because even though we have brillant people around, the rest of us are like -- idiots when discussing these theories.
The clock beats faster, the measurement ruler gets shorter, and you are the one that slows down, in time dilation. Your brain slows, and your motion slows, so that to you, you seem as if everything is normal, but if you keep going or trying to get up to the speed of light, you end up flat as a pancake, and can not make it! (Einstein!)
Now, I assume if any one figures out even part of this stuff, they will let you know, as someone or a group of people will win the Nobel Prize for solving something that some people will work on -- all of their life -- to solve -- so they can be the first one or ones to get that fame from doing it and going down as one of the finest minds to ever grace this Planet in the last 2000 years!
Fine then, good luck!
If corners are cut, and a fudge here or there is done, I would not want to be the one in that so-called time travel machine, for a life here or a life there, would be -- your life, should you take on this -- mission impossible!
This is just the first step, to be done!
Because, without the math, without the theory, it is all theory, and it is just a theory, and a theory is not a viable option to send someone out into the void, to make time travel a reality!
Even without experimental data to back it all up with!
And light is a vibration in the dimension of the so-called hyperspace, which is so small that it is at the Planck's length! (the other six curled-up dimensions!)
There -- there in that hyperspace, people may even find their brain --- but the mind -- well, that may be a different other story also!
