Hello, I'm John Titor

I wonder, is it just me, or does anyone else see a perceptible similarity between Oternative and Temporal Recon?
Definitely not just you, but the username I knew him as was something else.

No, I've had numerous debates with Temporal Recon. Not even remotely the same.

Well, the similarities are there, but I also detect a bit of John Thomas, always trying to insert himself into the Titor saga, claiming to be Titor, etc.You may be right Einstein, but perhaps, if he stays around, I may test the waters.

The thing I noticed with my debates with Temporal Recon is that he would never take a stand on something. He would always redirect the debate with another question. Many times creating a circular loop without really saying anything. Like he was trying to get me to realize something. Which never became apparent. It became tiring after a while.

So hold up.

So we all agree the Titor Tale is not true, but you believe it was told by design or info is taking a back slide to your past?

You say that your under pressure to make desisions?

I was thinking the exact same thing before I read your comment/question. Temporal Recon/Nozeitall used a similar argument in the defense of the Titor saga being true.

Nozeitall was another poster that got accused of being Temporal Recon. So just because he liked Temporal Recon's book, it does seem he was banned for that. Yet he had no resemblance to the posting style of Temporal Recon.

Everyone believes Titor's story was not true? Have you asked "everyone"?

lets get down to the facts. Titor reports he was sent back to 1975 to retrieve the IBM computer. this 5100's series was not used publicly nor professionally. i know i was there. it is reported to sell for 8 grand. but was discontinued shortly after 1978. where in 1978 a new 5100's series was developed with an internal 12 inch floppy drive. again i know about that. i bought one in 1981 for 25,000 dollars for my military works. the only immediate use of such a computer was for ease of data storage beyond the real to reals of the times that was not practical for military operations in the field.

in the works Titor describes he would need to retrieve the data storage floppies as well as the computer. it would take well over 50 large file cabinets of floppies to complete the works he was ordered to retrieve. most of which was nothing more then publications stored on those floppily disks.

think about it Titor. one disk could not hold more then 128 kilobites of data information of the newer model i used. the one you were seeking only held 80 kilobites of data. do the math. you would need 100 million disks to become useful. your military orders were impractical.

Titor was supplied with all necessary modern technology to complete his assignment.

He obtained the 5100 to address a future Unix issue.

Guest 2, the reason that Titor was sent back for the 5100 was that computer's ability to program other computers from base-log up.There are two possibilities here, that there had been an atomic war and all data from data warehouses had become EMP erased and or a cascade series of emissions from the sun, which had acted within the same mode as an EMP burst.

Unix 2038 Bug. Perhaps they fixed it and sent it back to 1975, with instructions.

"I was “sent” to get an IBM computer system called the 5100. It was one the first portable computers made and it has the ability to read the older IBM programming languages in addition to APL and Basic. We need they system to “debug” various legacy computer programs in 2036. UNIX has a problem in 2038."

LOL, okay sure. That's why your account's time zone is set to +1 GMT and the IP shown as being used for your registration and all three posts are the same (thus far).Disconnect from your current Tor node, connect to another and we'll see where that puts you on the map ;)
And he was never heard from again.
