I'm sure he does know at least some of that information. Haber did more than just copy messages and create a book. He filed a copyright, filed articles of incorporation for the John Titor Foundation and is still the attorney of record. He has a real client that he represents. He didn't perjure himself in the filings for the sake of creating the story or representing an author. He is simply not a run of the mill attorney. He was a highly placed attorney for both Disney and Universal Studios. Now he may or may not be directly involved with Boomer, the author of the posts.

1. His book consists of copied messages from the forum, nothing more.
2. The copyright for this name is not valid since 2008 (the period of ownership of the rights has expired), and besides him, 4 more people own the rights to this name, someone registered the rights to the name with all capital letters, someone combined the nickname in two words, etc. He is a simple fraudster who took credit for the story and collected donations from people for his foundation. I would not recommend arguing with me, I know everything about the history of this legend, who it was, from what place he wrote from what computer, etc.

Yes, I'm well aware that The Book is nothing more than our posts interspersed with the author's commentary. I brought that up here, and with Haber himself in 2004. Raul/MOP, who owned this site at the time, reminded me that I/we don't own the posts. It was his site and he owned the rights to the posts, something that we agreed to when we registered our accounts. Haber, through BenZ, reminded me that The Book was a derivative work based on the posts and did not violate any copyright. Raul agreed. And no one has suggested that the copyright covers the use of the name "John Titor". If your nighty is in a copyright knot because I brought up the previous protocol of not allowing new registrants to use the name John Titor or TimeTravel_0 or close derivatives on this site, well, have a cookie. That protocol was in place for almost 20 years for a reason.
That said, the copyright for The Book is absolutely valid and active and has been so since 2001. From the US Copyright Office five minutes ago:

Publicly accusing an attorney, Larry Haber, of being a scammer and fraudster when you cannot justify the statements may not be wise. I guess it comes down to how much of a sense of humor Haber has or hasn't. I know that he does occasionally lurk on this site.And for God's sake, kid, "I know everything about the history of this legend, who it was, from what place he wrote from what computer, etc." Really? Maybe you do and maybe you don't. You're not the first person and likely not the last person to make that claim. But you don't have to sound so desperate. No one has jumped in and taken the bait by giving in to curiosity. You'll either post what you say you know or you won't. In the mean time no one is holding their breath waiting for the Big Reveal.

The computer through which the messages were left on the forum 24 years ago was connected to the then-experimental TOR network. The posting was just part of a huge plan to create an alternate world line.

I wish this goon would just disappear already. Nobody actually believes him & he looks so desperate for anyone to validate him. All so that he can eventually try and scam a little money out of gullible people. All because he is irresponsible with money & made himself homeless as a result.
It takes about 5 minutes for anyone to figure out the man behind the poster here, which is the #1 reason he could never be the same guy. The man behind the myth was not terrible at security and privacy. It's clear he's money and attention motivated, as he's brought nothing new of value. No new formulas, calculations, diagrams, or anything.
Instead he tried to beg for people to work for free on Backstage for a hypothetical Titor TV show that he wants to create...which he has no experience in & can't stay coherent long enough to turn into anything. He tried to make a Kickstart with a delivery date of November 2024, which he also missed. He did launch a kindle-direct eBook in November. Guy thinks for w/e reason he knows more about law than larry friggen haber

Actually the JTF didn't try to publish a book, it did publish a book. The movie? That was Joel Kostuch, Barnstorm Productions. It was produced but hasn't been released. The film was produced by Barnstorm in cooperation with the JTF.
