Development of a time machine

Actually the JTF didn't try to publish a book, it did publish a book. The movie? That was Joel Kostuch, Barnstorm Productions. It was produced but hasn't been released. The film was produced by Barnstorm in cooperation with the JTF.
So many unscrupulous people have tried to use it to make money. I'm here to stop that and do a few other things.

While I encourage innovation and collaboration, I request that all fundraising efforts be directed to appropriate platforms designed for such activities, like GoFundMe or Kickstarter (or any other site like that). Those platforms offer the necessary protections for both project creators and supporters.

Please feel free to share more about your project and invite members to participate, but refrain from soliciting direct donations or sharing payment details here. If you have a campaign set up on a recognized fundraising platform, you're welcome to share that link, allowing interested members to support your endeavor in a secure and transparent manner.

Thanks!

In all honesty, it’s slightly disappointing TTI is allowing such a brazen scam on the forums. Is it that desperate for content?

Regardless of any ‘scientific’ discussion, the OP is asking for donations (let’s assume it’s going to be untraceable bitcoin or whichever chosen crypto - shock horror), so people can change their past and retrieve lost loved ones.

I’m also mindful that some members of this forum, past and present don’t necessarily, how do we put it…have all their screws tightened. Therefore would fall for this. It should probably be removed. Just as a suggestion of course.

Has anyone seen if this has been posted on other forums?

A BTC link (or something similar) was removed back in March. I don’t monitor every post here, but if it shows up again elsewhere on the forum, it’ll be removed as well.

As for characterizing me or TTI as "desperate for content," I’d argue the opposite. TTI is a space for open discussion, but I honestly couldn’t care less about the number of posts it gets. I keep it running purely for fun and to preserve the history and nostalgia of that era of the internet. It’s here for those who appreciate that. This site isn’t monetized, it’s just a passion project. Whether there are 100 posts a day or 10 posts a year my motivation remains the same: I enjoy maintaining it.

That said, I agree that threads like these walk a fine line. They’re allowed initially to give members the opportunity to debate or evaluate the claims. When they cross into solicitation or exploitative behavior as this one did in March, with untraceable donations and dubious pretenses, it’s addressed. That’s exactly what happened here: the link was removed, and I encouraged them to pursue a more legitimate approach. But removing the entire discussion isn’t always the best solution. In fact, I think keeping the thread visible ensures they can’t try again without facing the counterarguments already made (like yours).

If this were a serious project, they could have established credibility by using a legitimate fundraising platform with accountability and safeguards for contributors. They didn’t, which is why I don't think this needed further action. If you find a post you believe poses a risk to someone, reporting it is always welcome and it’ll be looked at.

This is such a long con/gambit hoping to prey on hopeful/dumb people. There was never going to be any glory for Titor even if it was a real person, so posting weird out of character posts now isn't convincing anyone.
Were someone to simply copy + paste all of Titors old postings -> then copy + paste all of this user's postings.....literally any LLM should tell readers that they are not the same people & do not have the same writing style.

If i put my money into something its going to be a contract that says that if that something is built then i get to fairly time travel from that of which i put my money into...i want out of this dimension.
