Re:2nd Response

Yes I agree with you whole heartedly! It is this fashion mode of thinking that is the same point I was trying to make in the "Bill Nye" analogy.

I ALSO agree that Quantum Mechanics gets downright silly at times and it is this very "silliness" that we are basing our current time travel and "dimension" postulations on! Heck, QM has even come to accept the term "weirdness" as a property of physics! Sheesh!

Congratulations on your impending MENSA status. Hope you don't have to wait too long for it. If you are going to study Quantum Physics, you will surpass my humble knowledge of it very shortly.

Good luck.

Dear Paul; In theory you could travel into the past, but first you would have to RECORD that instant in the global, universal past that you want to travel to. Now, please tell me how you are going to get the ENTIRE UNIVERSE to sit still for a "picture" at any given moment? Well, how? You see, you can't even record the EXACT position/energy of each and every fermion in a single leaf from a single tree, let alone the 10 to the 50 fermions of the earth, let alone the 10 to the 92 particles in the universe. But that is exactly what you would have to do to send your body's 10 to the 27 fermions back into a past scenario. Thus, the only past you can know is things in a momentum state such as fossils or objects in a museum..... But on the other hand travel(of your body alone) into the equally un- known future is quite easy, you have been doing it continuously since your conception as an organic lifeform-pattern. But again, there is no such thing as "time". My OUT OF TIME missive explains how it actually works:snail mail: W=P 420 2nd Ave East Kalispell, MT 59901(406-752-3328) Basically what is required of you is to break out of the mental prison cell that you call "time". Others find that prison cell quite comfort- able, and aliens laugh themselves silly over human ignorance, but that is the key question: can you overcome your own ignorance? -WP

If you were to travel to the past then that which you changed has already happened in the future you knew. I don't think traveling in time other than the everyday time travel we accomplish naturally is possible. The reasoning is this; If you told yourself that you will travel back in time then you can't say NO because you have already done it, this would take away our GOD given right to freedom of choice. If you tell yourself in the past that you will be hurt in the future it will still happen because you were already told about it when you went to the past. "If you know the exact future than you will either try to stop it or except something you can't change. The same goes for the past, if you traveled back to the past then you change something that already had happened, it can't be done if you changed it then it was alredy done before you left to do it."
