Walmarts Closing

I used to go to a Mcdonalds that was inside of a Walmart. There were giant wall murals of 1950s cars on the wall with think people measuring of all different ethnicities, getting along. They were showing each other their 57 Chevies and early 60 vintage cars. This was another era then in happy America .

What got me, is that when I compared the people inside of the restaurant to those pictured on the mural painting., there was no similarity. These people in the restaurant seemed to be mean, hungry people to where you would not dare ask the wrong question to, or they might react violently.

Whatever happened to the 50s and 60s Never Never Land in the USA?That was when dressing up to take a convertible car ride out had been an adventure.Pinter

African Americans have a very different version of the glory days. I'm always impressed how history is tainted by perceptions. Like the Vietnam War. In Vietnam they call it The American War and recall terrible battles to expel an invasion. Just like a theoretical world line, history is always in flux.
