My initial flight was from 2036 to 1975 (61 yrs). I then went from 1975 to 2000 (25 yrs.) Later this year, one of two favorable windows will open and I will return to my 2036 (35 yrs.) I am here now for personal reasons. The web page is not mine. I have been speaking online for about three months and the page is a collection of the various documents and pictures I have sent to other individuals.

Also, I realize there is no way for anyone to believe me with absolute certainty so I hope I'm at least entertaining. You may be interested to know that even in 2036, there are a large number of people who don’t believe in time travel. Are you sure the world is round?

Windows XP - win32 used with C++

Initial release October 15, 2001

Mainstream End April 14th, 2009

Extended support April 8th, 2014




Windows 7 - win32 I believe, used with C++

Initial release July 22nd, 2009

Mainstream Support January 13th, 2015

Extended Support January 14th, 2020.




Windows 8 - winRT(NEW) used with C++/CX(NEW)

New Foundation whether it is go or not.
Just needs a start button and is cheep.

Initial release 30th October 2012

Mainstream Support 9th January 2018

Extended Support 10th January 2023




Vista really does not exit so let not take about it.




Windows 8 is a new paradigm. If you are Windows 8 you are way
ahead of everyone else temporally since it came out in the year of 2012.

After next fall I am getting ride of windows XP and dual boot between
Windows 7 and 8

I am not going to the grave with Windows XP due to over uses. Does anyone
use Windows 95 anymore same reason.



In the end you decide what these temporal date mean for your operating system!

Well... it isn't!
It is a deformed oblate spheroid, that changes rapidly to be precise! These changes are affected by many things, including precession with a cycle of approx. every 26,000 years!

No one buy Windows 8, so far, even it is marked down to $58.99 in major stores in Australia, still no one buys it and sticks to Win 7.

I still have install floppy of MS-DOS 6, CD-ROM of Win98, Win 2000, Win XP but most of my PCs are in Vista.
I have also keep the Red Hat Linux install CD from the 90s, various Fedora and Ubuntu distributions for Unix based software from early 2000s to run on the x86 old PCs, just trying to get rid of all the old junks of PC boxes in Pentium, Pentium 2, Pentium 3 and 4 now.
I also have the installation CD of Apple OSX Panther, Leopard, Snow Leopard, and OSX Lion in soft copy.

Feeling like a computer museum at home, trying to get rip of many of them now to make room.

Why? Vista has to be the biggest ballsup Microsoft ever made! XP is much, much, much better!
& is OK too, but Vista- eeeek!
I still have all versions of DOS from about IBM DOS 3 up.
Still got my IBM PS2/70 Carry about with Win 3.11 on there and DOS 6.22? Still works like a dream, and fast as any other machine within its own limitations of course.

I used to love Windows 98SE- I would still use it- but for file size limtations. VERY stable! Mind you, XP is close!

It is really all about whether winRT takes of or not.

If winRT takes off get Windows 8 and if it does not stick with Windows 7

Can you tell me if win32 is still viable 100 years from now.
This will be the true fate of Microsoft.
If it does not something needs to replace it and there is only one current choice for Microsoft which is winRT.
None uses win16 or Windows 3.1 any more right!

If you keep these old computers you are destined for the under world. LOL! of the computer world.
You must be hard core.
 
If Windows 8 does not take off then Microsoft could be in major trouble don't you think since this is there brand new platform on many fronts technically and deployment wise isn't it.

I bought Windows 8 at a discount the first day it came out but haven't installed it yet.
I am waiting for people to iron out the bug and patches with an addition of a start button on the desktop.

But by next summer everything should be fine and I will install it as a dual boot.

By the way the person who was in charge of Windows 8 I thought has been pulled.

No, I am not hard core at all, I was only converted to Mac and Linux in the late 2000s, thanks to Linus Torvalds and late Steve Jobs, believing that any OS have Unix-style command terminals are more stable comparing to Micro$oft products. That is why I stuck with Vista as my last upgrade of Windows. :)

Linux and any Debian/Unix is generally very cost effective, Macintosh is generally more expensive than Micro$oft, and Vista...what is a Vista?
 
Android for the PC is free; but it really depends more on what you want in an operating system. If you are just looking for cost and effectiveness, I would suggest Ubuntu over any other free OS. However you can also use a free copy of WinXP/7 and keep activating the trial.

Android PC

This could be the future of the new PC.

Android PC only about 50$ for brand new system.
So this could be close to a no cost PC as possible included with hardware.

Check out Ebay and type either Android PC or Andriod PC.
