If time is a function of mass then maybe the center of gravity is also a center of time. What would that mean?

I didn’t hear you leave
I wonder how am I still here
And I don’t want to move a thing
It might change my memory

Oh I am what I am
I do what I want
But I can’t hide

And I won’t go
I won’t sleep
I can’t breathe
Until you’re resting here with me

And I won’t leave
I can’t hide
I cannot be
Until you’re resting here with me

I don’t want to call my friends
For they might wake me from this dream
And I can’t leave this bed
Risk forgetting all that’s been

Oh I am what I am
I do what I want
But I can’t hide

And I won’t go
I won’t sleep
I can’t breathe
Until you’re resting here with me

I won’t leave
I can’t hide
I cannot be
Until you’re resting here

I won’t go
And I won’t sleep
And I can’t breathe
Until you’re resting here with me

And I won’t leave
I can’t hide
I cannot be
Until you’re resting here with me

Oh I am what I am
I do what I want
But I can’t hide

And I won’t go
I won’t sleep
And I can’t breathe
Until you’re resting here with me

I won’t leave
I can’t hide
I cannot be
Until you’re resting here

And I won’t go
And I won’t sleep
And I can’t breathe
Until you’re resting here with me

I won’t leave
I can’t hide
I cannot be
Until you’re resting here with me

The first poll was gone then returned. /ttiforum/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

To those taking the poll: i would like to hear about your experiments if you want to post. If not, it's good just to see that people are trying. /ttiforum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Oh well... buggy php software. /ttiforum/images/graemlins/mad.gif I tried. Maybe someday Raul will upgrade the board, but as for now... c'est la vie!

mass

M = [F /{[(1/ (1-(V^2/C^2)) ^(1/2)]-1}A

Mass as a vector in a 3- orthogonal space

F = force
M = mass initial
V = velocity
C = speed of light
A = acceleration

I understand that this is how you feel. But perhaps, instead of just complaining and deriding other people's discussions, you could bring some content to the table. Start a thread with something that interests you. If you give us more than "one line, drive-by posts" then some here might be willing to engage you.

There is an old saying that goes something like this: "You need to be the change you wish to see in the world."

Just a suggestion to aid you in avoiding boredom!

it`s sound like the Wingmakers...

I might be more accurate to say, the wingmakers sound like "it".

Trying not to ruffle feathers;

The Wingmakers is very new-age, it is for another generation. Todays youth yurns for a little more than crystals and acid trips...I fear it is more calculated so much as 'discovered'. It is an update to the same process that started in the 60s. Believe it or not...there are people within the bowels of certain groups that get paid to come up with elaborate creations like the wingmakers (which is, incidently, one of the most extensive efforts).

Of course people will doubt it, there are enough microscopic scraps to keep the doubt at bay. The more time you invest in trying to decode all the psuedo-mystic-science...the further your claws tend to dig in. Surely something so complex, couldnt be made up...

Titor is less complex, but the same principle applies.

True, but i have been around when the genuinely stimulating ones pop-up every now and again, they always pass with little interest...

New age things are unimportant.

Stimulating conversation is in the mind of the beholder. Do you want someone to give you all the answers? Discovery is a matter of time. /ttiforum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

If time is a function of mass then maybe the center of gravity is also a center of time. What would that mean?

It's not often stated but newton's 3rd law of motion can be interpreted as: "all forces are radially exerted toward/away from the center of mass of a system". /ttiforum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

In clarification of the above:

All forces are exerted toward/away from the center of mass of a system OR orthogonal to the vector connecting the individual centers of mass. The former transfers linear energy, while the latter conveys rotational energy.

Consider a rocket which propels a gas out one end in order to move the rocket the other direction. The force exerted by the propellant's acceleration is exerted on both propellant and rocket radially outward from the center of gravity of the propellant-rocket system.

In another example, consider two objects colliding. The force one object exerts on the other is exerted on itself by the second object, thereby making a radially inward force upon the center of gravity of the system.

The transfer of force is inherently linked to gravity. And force is a measure of how things change in time (dp/dt).

It can be seen that there are 3 kinds of force (not talking about fundamental forces like strong, weak, etc.):

1) Expansive
2) Compressive
3) Rotational

One may argue that there are 2 rotational forces (CW & CCW) but it is merely a matter of perspective.
