Would it mean anything if I too had ties to the aerospace industry? hmmm probably not...i'm not active enough on these boards to be significant.

I think you might be overstepping the line from sanity to paranioa.

you gotta think, the JT story... what kind of people would it call to?
2 kinds, for the most part, one is the science fiction or time travel junkies, or an occasional physicist of sorts. the second, and more likely, is the geek hacker types of people (also the science fiction junkies), who know full well how to use a computer for constructive or destructive measures. So all of a sudden you have computer problems and go blaming all these people? (the government?) I would first think that it's a geek who wants to have fun at my expense. Even I can create a lowly virus, and I'm an idiot...

Even though sometimes the most irrational explnation is the truthful one, most of the time it's the one staring you in the face.
