If anyone of you were smart enough you'd easily figure out "his" photo of the controle panel of his "time machine" is simply a picture grabbed from http://caravan.cessna.com/

Yeah, for your information,"GUY" I was sarcastically responding to the annoying comments he made about being from the future. He noted current events as possible evidence of his being a time-traveller - or not. Any moron, myself included, can clearly see this guy is a hoax and not even an interesting one. As for the pic, I don't need a link to any website to see the absurdity of it. I've seen way too many lame-ass time machine pictures, everything from Titor's B.S. laser to a converted Playstation unit for sale on Ebay. So if you want to resort to insulting the intelligence of me or other people on this forum, go right ahead, Jackass.
 
It was to put an end to this obvious hoax so people can spend their time on something else.
Threads like this should just be locked in the first place.

The rules are the rules, doesnt matter how long i was here or how many posts i made. I know there is a fan fiction section for those who want to make stories. I am not making any rules, i just point out the obvious.

And no I am not calling you a moron unless you believed the claims. I doubt you did.

This is an Open Forum, and I appreciate that, unlike many other places I have visited where they constantly monitor and tell you where to post and what to say and delete your posts, this forum is Open and FREE. In such a case you MUST take the bad with the good, and, you will learn to ignore the bad very quickly, in search of the good and interesting stuff. I can save you some time right now, ignore any post made by Creedo as he makes statements based in a fantasy world and refuses to provide any proof, EVER. That ought to save you some time.

Anyway, its a good forum with lotsa intersting stuff too, and i'll probably stay for a while.

That is why it is titled "Story". After being a member for so long and reading all the other time traveller claims, I decided to take a stab at it. I wasn't extremely serious from the beginning.

It wasn't really meant to be taken as truth. But then, why wouldn't it be possible for a time traveler to utilize a device that resembles something from our time frame as not to attract attention?

A Cessna sitting amongst others of its kind at a small airport would certainly be un-noticed, and if it had been a time travelling device, what better way to hide it?

As far as the other claims regarding the future, they just may come to pass. The Earth is going to be subject to major changes and humanity will suffer. If you don't believe that, go visit Sri-Lanka and ask those folks about what the Earth can throw down within an instant.

Also, why do some of you take life so seriously? You could have added onto the damn thing to make it more interesting. Live a little, Sheesh!

Maybe we are both stupid since we don't even know each other and are hurling insults at each other. All those who do know my posts, know that I do throw humor into the mix. Sometimes it is good to laugh a little instead of throwing daggers around!

No, I think not! One never knows when or where inspiration may strike. The God? Thread started out as a minor bantering amongst a few of us and turned into a monster with 889 posts. There may be some posts within it that are total garbage, but, it did result in alot of research and learning about each other points of view.

I certainly have no problem with Roel moving this thread to the story section if it so easily "offends" you.
 
I am not easily offended in general but i'm just very tired of all these fake time travel claims going on- special real bad ones that doesnt even get one thinking


However, your thoughts about time travelers making their crafts look like something conventional and common from the time they are visiting sounds completely possible.

I understand. I decided that if "they" could do one, I could too. Agreed, it should have been done in the forum for stories, but then many of the claims should be written there as well.
There are points to ponder as I presented them...

1. The electronics utilized by any time traveler obviously would be far more advanced than our technology today. Instead of sending someone back in time that could create temporal problems, why wouldnt it be possible to put in place a satellite that monitors events of the desired date(s) of interest? In our time, an additional satellite probably wouldnt even be noticed.

2. If there was a time traveller present here in 2005, and he( or she ) was active on the web, I would imagine that they would utilize a system as I described. A remote system that even if traced, would lead the trackers way off somewhere far from the travellers location.

3. By having a satellite in place, it seems likely that it could be utilized for any communication between the traveller and his time. It could be used for scanning locations on the planet from above, it could be used as a data base if the traveller needs to access additional information, it also could be used as a communication portal.

4. Bio-technology seems to be providing the foundation for implants to be utilized within the human body. Think of the possibilities of a time traveller having one that indeed can access a link to his own computer orbiting the Earth.

5. With all the discoveries being made in the ocean, it just may be possible there is a plant that can convert radiation to some harmless by-product.

I would like to hear your idea as too what time traveller(s) would be using and how they could do research without possibly creating temporal problems.

Well.. your story goes in the fan fiction section. Also, when you say "end of times" as relative to what. Life on earth has been around for 65 million years, give or take, so if were in the last days as you say, when would you estimate the end of time to occur?

This depends on what you consider life. Bacteria have been around for billions of years, multi-celled organisms, mollusks I believe somewhere in the neighborhood of at least 500 million years, Dinosaurs 400 million-65 million years ago. And as we all share mitochondrial dna with some female who lived in Africa over 200,000 years ago so we have only been around a fraction of a second..

Have you never heard the theories regarding the End of Times? I find that to be astonishing since it is a rather popular subject now a days.

You really need me to define "End of Times" for you? Tell you what...use your search engine and research it yourself and then you will have your answer.
