Not trolling no. It seems as if you're all good at 'giving it out' on this forum, but not 'taking it back' very well. Just seeing for myself how this forum works. Very little 'etiquette' all round I'd say....
 
I tend to try and not judge but just observe.
Sometimes people take that emotionally when I'm really just curious.

What do I give? I just try to use some form of logical deduction.
There are different types I'm sure you realize.

You have a very recognizable pattern. If you had a passion with QM and were doing what you claim, you'd think the need to share would override bruises to your ego, and the need to engage with drama.

Just an observation, I'm probably wrong, you're probably right. Though I still like to consider all angles. I still don't have a bias, so I'm not quite sure why you seemed to get so charged up easily.

You really don't deserve any info on what I'm helping with. No lies, no drama. I wonder how many others you've made withhold really interesting stuff (which mine genuinely is), because of the unsociable attitude you have. No benefit of the doubt thing going on here - just lampoon first with insult, thats our motto. Well you're getting nothing else from me about the project; I'll just enjoy the squabble from now on. Believe what you like! Everything I've said is true, even the return insults.

I was accepted into the military for communication research (linguistics and cyber warfare a few of the things hypothetically covered I'd imagine).

So I believe I have the aptitude to digest whatever you're offering.

I would imagine that partly is in the hands of God and my focus.
Sometimes life throws a curve ball, it's what we do with it that matters I suppose.
I have alot I need to get done, but it needs to be organized and things are starting to fall into place hopefully.
I owe alot of people a great debt of gratitude for the encouragement they give in small ways.
Especially the people on this board to say the least, the wisdom here is invaluable at times.

Puh-leeze, Pamela.

Richy has had every opportunity to share meaningful information about what he his working on. It has been his choice to simply engage in behavior that he, himself, seems to think is beneath him. He could have spent most, if not all, of that time and effort actually talking about the technical details of his announcement. You know what they say: Those who have something to share are usually all too happy to share it. Those who have nothing to share will make grand announcements and then avoid sharing any details at all costs.

Can we just discuss the topic like one would if he had something interesting...

You do things your way, I will do things my way. I don't think we all need to adopt the touchy-feely, lets-make-everyone-feel-good-about-themselves way that you espouse. Some of us want to weed-out the chaff (i.e. those things with no technical feasibility or viability).

I am still waiting for him to share something of substance. But alas, now he seems to say "we are not worthy". That is not the attitude of anyone in the sciences or engineering field who has something that is truly remarkable. Rather, it is the tired, re-used enticement tactic of a marketeer.

Put up or shut-up.

so i just have to call him on it and say, "are you really that immature?"

like i said before, is it cool to walk into someones home, and expect to disrespect them and get away with it? would you let someone do that to you? because that is what your doing.

knowledge or honor. you have to choose in a situation like this. i will always choose my honor. screw him. i can outthink him any day of the week. with that being said, if he truly found a way to tt by the age of 55, then im not too far away from being able to tt myself. i dont need his info at all.

thats the way i feel about it. i dont need to bow before him to save some time. i like to work for mine anyways. i feel bad when i have to take handouts, and when the person tries to rub it in my face, bad times for said person.
