I hate to be the b*tch of the site, but while this post makes for mediocre (thats right, not even GOOD) fiction, its weak. weak weak weak weak weak. a word of advice, the first tell - citing that all of europe is german in the time-line you just came from...and with an exclamation point even. that hilter won the war there, egads! first off, do you have any appreciation for how much bad science fiction is based on this same general premise? be original. but more importantly...if that HAD happened, life as we know it would be so completely drastically different...inventions and technology and the last 60 + years of history...our celebrities, our system of government and role in world politics, our moral code, etc...and though you'd be able to cite the differences between THIS 2005 and THAT 2005, it would be IMPOSSIBLE for you to distinguish if THAT was the event that set things in a different spiral, or if something prior had set things in that direction, and one of the RESULTS was a german defeat of europe...but even MORE significant than that...the only reason that the event has such significance to us is that in our history germany did NOT win the war...to you, experiencing so many parallel 2005s, this would not be compelling, surprising, nor would you probably be able to guage how surprising it would be to US...thus it makes your exclamation point rather silly, or the fact that THAT would be the one significant thing you'd point out. what about the wave of things that would come as a result that would probably be so much MORE influencial in our daily lives that YOU being an outsider would assume we'd take note of?
for instance...if i had just traveled from a world where the british had beaten us americans into submission during the revolutionary war...i WOULDN'T come saying "i just came from a world where the british beat the colonists in the revolutionary war!"....because in that world it would be historical fact, and it would've had SO many KAJILLIONS of different repricussions over the past few hundred years...you might be saying "i just came from a world where there are no automobiles" or "that we've discovered a cure for cancer with martian fungus"...and not even be able to LINK it to the cause of british winning the revolutionary war because so many things had been influenced by it.
I would LIKE to see this as a place where people come to disucss ideas in furthering the possibility of time travel. at the very least, where people discuss back and forth the problems and potential problems (or wonders) of time travel. not become a science fiction forum for young, inept authors trying to be profound with absolutely no ground to stand on.
