and it better be a darn good excuse too, none of this "my wife won't let me" or "the time machine doesn't work that way". I know if a real TT came to the boards they would be limited in what they could say, but come on at least give us a plausible explanation...

I'll give you a break and take you literally - that you mean (Ludwig) Lorenz and not (Hendrik) Lorentz here.
Time Dilation? Lorenz? Lorenz died 14 years before Einstein published the Special Theory of Relativity in 1905.
Maybe you really did mean Lorentz, who died in 1928. But his work was in E&M/Optics.
Hmmm...quantum tunneling. Four years after Lorentz died (1932) von Neumann published the first paper on QM that had a firm grasp on the math and took the issue beyond both Heisenberg and Dirac.
Just tell us...who is Lorenz? Please. And point us to where he makes reference to quantum tunneling or time dilation. (Ludwig Lorenz, like Hendrick Lorentz, worked in E&M. He didn't work in QM or Special/General Relativity because they hadn't been discovered prior to his death.)

The most recent post in this forum is very interesting, still seems like a big joke of a story but also some interesting things, I posted a link to something in this guys post to the thread, the link url was wrong but the address was right.
I have no idea where that puts him. In 20 years, there is a leap year 2008, 2012, 2016, 2020, 2024, so that is five and not four!
I have no idea where this guy is from but there are 365.25~ days in a year. That is until you get into astronomy then it is 365.2422 days, so he called it -- 0.24219 which would be about correct, I guess.
But still from 2005 to 2025 and that is 20 years there are 5 years that are leap years!
Unless it is divisible by 4 and 400 and somewhere there is that 100 divisor, so the year 2000 is not a leap year, but 2004 is and was and had a Feb. 29th!

I've been busy (with retirement) so I hadn't gotten around to commenting on your 22-FEB-05 post:
You used a formula to calculate your number of days between 22-FEB-05 and 22-FEB-25 but you misculculated the number of leap years. There are 5 not 4. They are 2008, 2012, 2016, 2020 and 2024. Add another ~6 hours for the time between 29-FEB-2024 and 22-FEB-2025 and you should have posted at approximately 0215 hours on 21-FEB-05, not 0817 hrs on 22-FEB-05.
You made another big error in your calculation. You used tropical years instead of sidereal years. THey are not the same, my friend. You not only missed the date but your tunnel opened up somewhere other than where the Earth "should" have been.
Next time your time tavelers should check with an astronomer (who would tell you what time it is) rather than a computer geek (who can't tell time).

Of course someone posted a post that couldn't be answered by this Zeshua fellow so of course we'll never hear from him again. He'll never make another attempt to post on this site. Maybe on some other. This is nothing new. I've been on some other sites before and everyone who has ever posted a message saying they are posting from the future has been proven a fake. Of course John Titor claimed to be in the present time so this type of test couldn't be run with him...but you know...
