I did not mention "beings" per se, I said,
So vast is the universe that the odds of there being a planet either similar to Earth or with dissimilarly evolved life are very high.
[E]volved life leaves open the question of how evolved in
order to imply life evolved to varying degrees in separate places.

Yes, you didn't mention "beings" but in a prior post you said (quote)

"Michael,

I , too, believe there must be other intelligent creatures in existence."

I just equated your use of the term "intelligent creatures" with "beings".
