You did not read closely. There was/is no party this year... I think it became obvious to all the prior attendees over the past few years that Titor was bogus.

Doh, leave it to me to make a stupid comment to a bad hoaxer, as this one only claims he's from a year ahead. I have wondered about the slang issue for other hoaxers as I know many here have, though. I wonder, is the reason we don't get more hoaxers from the far future (when it seems more likely this sort of technology could be utilized, if ever) is because they do not want to tackle that issue or because they are married to the "you cannot travel farther back than when the first machine was built" proposition. If the latter presumption is indeed true in reality, at least it explains why none of these claims are believable.

As of this writing, Pittsburgh can still make it in. But being from SoCal (and I grew up in Cleveland), naturally I am going to root against the Steelers and for the Chargers. So my prediction for the Super Bowl is:

San Diego 30, Philadelphia 17

You ain't kidding. And look how wrong I was about the Chargers advancing! Guess that would rule me right out of the elitist TTer club. /ttiforum/images/graemlins/cry.gif But I'll get over it.

I think Pittsburgh can beat the Ravens. But I dunno about the Cardinals against the Eagles. Maybe when all is said and done, it never really matters! (You like to think this when none of your teams advance!)
