Coincidence or creation?

Strange coincidence or a message the cable channel here reports that the gb£ to U.S. $ is1.3666 and the euro€ to U.S.$ is 1.1111

Are the powerful in control using numbers to warn citizens how much in control they are of their purse strings or just a coincidence?

I Don't believe coincidence so I heed this warning with respect due.
