I am assuming, having read nothing different since the above posting that the timeline you percieved during that period, did not come to pass, and I wonder do you believe that it was your 2003 'self' percieving that (possable?) future and acting on this perception that caused the change? or do you think that it was your 'self' of 2005 percieving and acting on his (possable?) past that caused the change? what i am trying to ask, really is was histroy changed, or was the future altered? the distinction may be moot, after all what is, is. but it would seem to me to be of some importance, overall.

wow-as i look at that little quagmire of a paragraph i realize that it's way confusing, sorry for that, but it seems that english isn't set up very well for the discussion of temporial subjects, (then again it may just be that i could never stay awake during english class). either way i hope it makes sense.

To anyone on this forum that can supposedly travel astrally. Similar to poster clara suggestion about placing a card face up on a table, without looking at it, and then astrally travel to that table, look at the card, return to your body and check out the card to see if you were indeed right. You have a 1 in 52 chance of getting it right. If you can do that try 3 cards. Want to make a million dollars (US)? Prove your ability to this guy and you will be a millionaire. Like all psychics, they fail to prove and debunk him by saying it doesn't work like this. If I could I would in a New York minute and be all the richer for it. Go for it! I dare you. :devilish:

 
I have a question, I tried it and had no success. Do you have to do it for a certain period of time?

I plan on giving a letter to me in the past. When I go back, will I be in a different place (I'm supposed to be away to college)

You seem to be looking for an easy way to accomplish time travel.

Astral Travelling requires disipline and practice.

You should also develope an understanding of what exactly is involved with any type of projection. Some people are born with the gift of being able to shift easily, but, most are not.

You would be dealing with altered states of consciousness, and if not properly prepared, you could get hurt. I dont mean to scare you off of your desire to do this, but you should really research it and implement the disciplines necessary to do so safely.

There is an enormous amount of information on astral travelling on the web, but take care with what you find. Many adepts take advantage of those who "fool" around with the essences of existence.

I have had countless experineces---astral, dream, lucid over my lifetime and I have had on ONE occassion, the appearance of time travel.

Let me explain.

I was living with my sister in Oregon at the time. Xmas was appraoching and she was traveling back to CO to visit Mom--I didn't want to go this particualr year. I had a boyfirend at the time who I wanted to spend time with. (I know, selfish) My sister was a single Mom with an adorable baby girl.

The night before she left, I septn the night with my boyfriend ( I know, selfish) and I told her I would be home in the morning to help her get ready and pack the baby up---

needless to say---we slept late---my boyfriend drove me home---and on the way back to my sius's place---up a winfy moutnain road along a river...we passed her---she saw us--didn't wave, looked kind of frantic. (which my sister often did, anyway)

I was tired, didn't want to deal with it---boyfriend dropped me off at the top of the moutnbain---I went in the front door---took an immediate left through the ktichen, down the hall and took my first left inot the bedroom---dropped onto the bed---and immediately fell into a quick sleep, followed by the sensation of me being yanked out of my body and being set on my feet. (which is how iut used to happen then...it's much more simple, and elegant now) Anyway...I stood up---heard my SISTER in the front room---I was confused, not really aware that I was out of my body yet---went throught he door, and heardmy sister swearing up a storm in the dining room.

I went down the hall---and went into the dining room instead ot the ktichen (which is how I came IN ) and I saw my sister trying to feed my neice, and talking out loud and swearing at me---and I said ---I'm here---wha't sthe matter---she threw the spoon on the floor, plucked the baby up---and ran into the abck room---I followed. It dawned on me that she had ALReady LEFT and that maybe I was witnessing the past. Granted an hour ago, but still, mayeb it was what had happened BEFORE I got home. So I watched her gather my bneices clkothes up---she got in the shower, threw a towel asew on the rack---took certain items I knew I coulde verify when I wok up and I was THINKING that because I was like---Oh my gosh---I an seeing what just happened!!!! SHe finsished apcking the kid up---grabbed her---swore about me a couple of good times and left---leaving the front door ajar--(which is what I found when I came home)

I awoke---

got up immediately--only a few minutes had passed. Went into eh DINING room---

1. saw the spoon on the floor and bib where she left it---same cereal---the kid was in the swing while she was trying to feed her--the swing was in the same place

2. green towel askew in lighted bathroom---

3. all the clothes she gathered were gone.

that's all I have---but it was so amzaing and so fascinating.

I stood there in the ktichen thinking---I've only been asleep about 20 minutes, and the phone rang.

It was my sister.

She wanted knot know if I was ok---she was sorry she left in a hurry and she said she was so mad at me all morning for not going with her, but she felt bad and wanted me to have a nice Xmas anyway.

I have never had much success meditating. But once every few months or so I have extremely vivid dreams as real as being there. Some of them seem to be prophetic and later come true to the exact detail the most memorable one was finding an old senile lady in my back garden which later came true.

There have also been some vivid dreams where I have found myself in the past during my childhood where I of course instantly started thinking about how I could use my knowledge of the future to enrich myself. But I awoke back in the present day before I could enact those plans, but they did leave quite an impression on me as sudenly finding yourself inside a weedy little childs body is an interesting experience.

Reading the story of Queen Jane the Nine Day Queen I found myself getting unusually emotionally affected and over the next several weeks had several dreams that I was her. I wondered whether that was a past life, eventhough it is quite cleche to claim to be an historical figure. One of my last thoughts before I woke up from one of those dreams was to make my mark on history by inventing hot air balloons and electricity etc.

I also once dreampt I was in the iron age.

Using this method, would it be possible to travel back in time to potentially correct a mistake and prevent a loved one from dying??

 
I've actually participated in this phenomenon, for an extended period of my life I had been practicing this. What I found really helpful was listening to particular arrangements of tranquil music and focusing my attention on one particular point, this helps to lull all other thoughts and boost meditation ability. I also conducted these test by lying flat on a soft comfortable surface completely still, having one hand raised while entering this sleep like state is handy, it helps by alerting you if you fall asleep.

The furthest I had ever gotten with this was the entering of strange abnormal sights and sounds into my dreary consciousness. I'm not going to state that Astral Projection is possible but it's worth a try.

A helpful tip with this practice is to desensitise yourself to easy scares, this is because when you mind is in a state of parallel consciousness the things you can witness are so frightening that almost all of the time you will subconsciously want to wake up and rid of these scares. Sadly I could never get past this stage hence never achieving Astral Projection.

.. Astral Projection to time travel? Now that just sounds ridiculous.

Some of the phenomena you are describing, scientifically-speaking, are the precursory discoveries which eventually will lead to a (more or less) practical realization of what you think of as 'time travel'. For example; "remote viewing" is directly related to something you would know as 'spooky action at a distance'. This particular phenomena can now be explained scientifically, and is directly related to behavior of sub-threshold disturbances (or waves/vibrations) within the universal medium. I can't get into this description in detail without appearing absurd from your perspective, so I will summarize only by saying that what you are experiencing, or have experienced, is in fact, a real process and not lunacy.

 
Thinking about the current technology more in depth, allow me to add this; what you are describing as 'astral projection', I believe to be some sort of historical idea of a mobile mind concept, is, in fact, if I am studying the subject without error, probably equates to the same modern ideas which are crucial to 'time travel'. Involving approximately sixty-percent willful mental alterations, and the remainder of the whole as mechanical manipulations (achieved in the lab), 'time travel' is most certainly possible. Not only as a process of simple information transfer, but also as a successful means of transporting physical reality (as perceived, ultimately, by the mind). Explanations of the process become quite complex, and I believe that even our greatest minds do not quite grasp every detail; however, it does appear to function quite well, within the confines of the current model.

 
I did this spontaneously! With a radio, and while awake! I was praying. I rose up for several days, it was a clusterfuck because everything made sense. Everything. I crossed the threshold of insanity; the Edge, only to make it back safely. My Big Brother watched over me, I just did not know he was always behind me.

Hi I astral and remote view every night mostly to America and it's like I am a third person I can go where ever I wont I have sometimes even gone to military base or other places of significant interest and always seem to be catching a plane out of America after I have been to try and get back home and have been to parallel worlds with another me and different family and travel between dimensions and am sometimes in an office inputting data into a computer and then all the shutters come down and I have to try and get away and dream of travelling on a bus in America and walking and shopping .................and making new friends .............what this all mean ......and find with my latest astral i was dreaming of spaceship birmingham and the elequis files that actually exist ..........do u do this kind of astral.

 
I have developed a permanent mental block that prevents me from traveling in my astral body. After my first successful attempt I turned around and saw my body on the bed. I believe I thought I was dead. I was instantly back in my body and have been unsuccessful in any further attempts.

I'm curious to know if you could astrally travel to the future and obtain the winning lottery numbers.
