A Reminder on Prioritizing Well-Being

This site is, and always has been, a place for people passionate about exploring the mysteries of time travel, fringe science, and other topics that captivate the imagination. We should be doing that on a foundation of curiosity, respect, and thoughtful discussion.

I need to address a concern that has surfaced from time to time. Occasionally, some members in moments of emotional distress have reached out, even offering money in hopes that someone might be able to help them reverse a mistake or change something in their past (or some variation on that theme). I understand the deep feelings behind the desperation of those kinds of requests, but I must emphasize that Time Travel Institute is not the appropriate place for this type of support.

These forums are dedicated to the discussion of time travel theories, scientific exploration, and fringe topics. While our community is a space for exploring fascinating ideas, it is not equipped to handle personal crises or urgent emotional needs. We must emphasize that reaching out in moments of distress (whether by offering money or by asking for someone to contact you directly) can put you at risk. Such actions may lead to exploitation or, even more concerning, endanger your personal safety or that of your loved ones.

The goal is to ensure the safety and well-being of every member of our community. If you find yourself in a situation where you feel desperate or overwhelmed, we strongly encourage you to seek help from professionals who are trained to provide the support you need.

Please take care of yourselves and remember that while we are here to discuss the wonders of time travel, your well-being is the most important part of that journey.

Thank you.

On a serious note, if you find yourself stranded here on an unfamiliar timeline, remember, you are not the 1st, nor will you be the last. Maybe see the sights and enjoy your stay?

And you may find yourself living in a shotgun shack
And you may find yourself in another part of the world
And you may find yourself behind the wheel of a large automobile
And you may find yourself in a beautiful house, with a beautiful wife
And you may ask yourself, "Well, how did I get here?"
