A future article

[Why do you feel you need to answer questions on this board? Was there anyone here who was of special interest in your article? Do you feel you owe something to one or more of the participants on this board?]

I just thought it would be interesting to let the forum know. The John Titor story was mentioned, and the forums responses to the story. The forum itself was picked because we have achieved some of what you could consider traveling in time, and you are some of the earliest references we can find that take an interest in the subject.

[Where was your article published? How many people are likely to read it?]

It wasn't published in any particular medium like you know of. Anyone who wants to write articles can and does. Anyone who wants to read the articles has access. I do not know how many people have or will read it.

[You said some of the board participants' children will be able to read your article. Are you hoping that the members here tell their children about you and to look for an article that mentions TimeTravelInstitute around August 21, 2102?]

I was pointing out the average human life span in the future improves as it has through history. It isn't uncommon for someone born in your time to be walking around in mine. It's unlikely anyone will remember the forum or these messages.

[What is the most famous book of the 21st century and what makes it special?]

I'm not sure, but you stop printing books.

[What other sources for our century's ideas about the future did you use? Were all of your sources from the first nine years of the century? What was the title of the article? Do the opinions held during the first nine years of the century fairly represent the rest of the century, or for some reason does the rest of the century not matter?]

Everything you currently have and will create is ubiquitous in our world. You're on the brink of great power sources. Software, hardware, robotics, physics. I didn't touch anything on after 2005. The rest of the century is absolutely not like 2000-2009. Everything will change.

[Can you give the name, or barring that, the initials of the of the most famous physicist or scientist of 21st century? What is this scientist known for?]

"BLG", known for practical AGI

[Are you religious? If so, what religion? When did you adopt your religion? Why?]

I am not religious. Most people here are not.

[Why did you decide to begin this thread in March, 2009, instead of perhaps starting a thread in like, um, lets say, March 2010 ?

Or does your system have limitations that result with problems of "when" you can post ?]

I chose the date 03/06/09 because the numbers are significant in the future for solving a mathematical riddle which reveals relationships between numbers.

I do not have limitations.

Actually, Ben Goertzel wrote or coauthored many of the papers in AGI, but he was primarily the editor of the book.

Also, If I had to guess, I'd say that his middle name is LINUS, as he and his father coauthored a biography of Linus Pauling, and appears that there are family connections with LP.

I remember that possibly the only time that Titor used an exclamation point was when he was talking about the power of computers in the future.

Your current theories suggest a slowest and fastest speed. A beginning and end to time.

Which theories would they be that suggest a fastest and slowest speed? You sure you mean speed?

You seem to have taken a break from answering questions but, if you should return, I have a follow-up question about one thing you said.

While the first sentence here is a little puzzling, I take your answer to mean that a big change is about to happen, which, at least from the perspective of the 22 century, is a positive one. Might it the be described as the technological singularity that Kurzweil and others anticipate?

What he may said
"in other words" is:

that Timetravel will be discovery circa 2010, and hundred of web sites and disccussion groups will be, and this site will be long forgoten in the result chaos...

And Kerr and the Singularities...

I chose the date 03/06/09 because the numbers are significant in the future for solving a mathematical riddle which reveals relationships between numbers.

I noticed the date as being a pleasing one, at least to a pattern freak like myself. Can you say anything else about the puzzle? Was it an outstanding mathematics conjecture or unsolved problem? Do you know which area of math it was a part of; number theory, geometry, complex analysis, probability?

Thanks again!
