From 2049 to now

I am from 2049, and it seems I have time traveled to 24 years in the past. I've spent a couple weeks observing how different life is than in my time. On February 17th, I was brought to this time by something I do not understand. I have a working theory, but I need further thought and input to make any progress. So you've spent a couple of weeks here? How have you been living? Nobody ever talks about that. Where can you live when your other self is here? I would love to hear about how you got here. Then I'll ask more complicated questions.
 
I have been living in a small apartment that I rent. It isn't the best quality, but I'll take what I can get, regardless. I mean, how does a guy who went to the past with almost nothing, be able to afford a good place? However, I am interested in something else. What I am more interested in is your claim of an "other self." Do you say "other self" as in seeing a past version of myself? Could you clarify more on what that means?

I need to go back in time 5 years to the past how can I do that? Is there a way? Mentally?

Yes your other self, exactly. How can you rent a place if your other self already lives here in 2025. Wouldn't all records be mixed up? Also I have more complicated questions here.

I'm not very proud to admit this, but I'll say it anyway. I lie about it. I am lucky that they haven't found out yet. I came here with most of my stuff from my time, so it looks very legitimate, because its real in my time, just not yet. I am still very young at this point in time, so I doubt they'd mix me up with my other self.
