Actually, the idea for the Wrath Of Khan Star Trek movie was taken directly from an episode of Star Trek the TV series that also starred Ricardo Montalban, called The Space Seed. You can read about the plot of that original episode at the link.

So the movie Wrath Of Khan picks up later in time when Kirk has to again deal with Khan, who he thought he had taken care of earlier in his life. What goes around comes around! :D

I see the direct link between the two there now, nice.
The person I mentioned in that reference I believe was the same idea just not the whole general topic -
just a reference to the nasty in the ear lol.
Two classic shows however for sure.
