If anyone is doing or plans on doing any experiments or anything and needs volunteers/partners/subjects, I would be a willing guinea pig.


However, I reserve the right to refuse if your experiments seem too dangerous or weird.

That's an interesting handle you have there. I'm just wondering if there is a story behind that name.

Or maybe a story from your past about someone claiming to be a time traveler?

No big story. Just an inside joke I have with a friend.

it is for one time loop's being culturally confusing, even to
me, that I am reluctant to attempt an account of anything so
ambiguously enthralling.

Oh, we just plan to send you through a wormhole at the center of a black hole so that we can discover if time travel is possible. Nothing too dangerous. Disclosure: We have no idea what a worm hole actually is, where it leads to and whether or not you can survive the forces present.

Because the greatest of forces is often subtle and sometimes,

Darby, while I’ve yet to discover how it is possible,
I have experienced time travel.
In fact, a skeptic once time slipped with me.

Actually, I borrowed the tag line from someone's post describing me as an evil debunker. It's been up for a few years so maybe it's time for me to get a new one.
 
Resist letting others define you. "[A] few years" of that is too many.
Granted playing the devil's advocate isn't without merit, doing so can
take its toll.

Give some thought to how you would like to be known, and we'll look

No. You don't always get what you want. But if you try some time. You might find.. You get what you need.

I'm using a video game reference here. I'm hoping to finish this game with an outcome that I can live with.

In one game, I end up saving the town of idiots and their children.
In another game, I let the idiots and their innocent children all die but the smart people emerge with their children.
I don't know if I can live with the idiots.
I don't know if I can live with letting some innocent children die.

If so, then you know that I have been playing war games my whole life.
I was a military brat and in the military myself.
I have done and seen terrible things.
Witnessed a sea of pink that was once sentient life.
Heard men quote Numbers 31:7.
The Israelites killed all the Midianite men, women and boys and saved the young girls for their slave wives.
1 Corinthians 14:34 slaves and wives are to be silent.

This is the world we will all live in shortly.
